  1. i'll give them a ring in the morning and ask about weight etc. Would the arches need rolling with 19"? also will the steering still be able to go full lock?
  2. The replica Rotors are ASUKA RACE and the ones with the red lip are CRUIZE. They do not come with tyres, they are apparently balanced and come with locking nuts and fitting kit??. No mention of a warranty. If Cruise are not a decent manufacturer who makes a similar style with deep dish on the rears?
  3. I’m after some new wheels for my black supra, ideally I don’t want to spend over £1000 including tyres. I have found these from DP motor sport. The red lip (19”) ones are £580 and the replica rotors (18”) are £530 both without tyres. I know they seem cheap but is there any reason why they would be a bad buy?
  4. Because the auto box has the manual facility I thought it would be possible to convert the shifter mechanism to sequential i.e. pull back to change up and push forward to change down. Apologies if my terminology is wrong.
  5. ooo did I hit a nerve there?! Get your talons out! Cheers for the legitimate responses. Yeah, I simply wanted to know if it would hence the ‘?’
  6. My supra will be bpu in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if it will backfire? It is a j-spec tt auto with a 3“ with RR. All the cars I have had before with no cats have popped and banged on the overrun, I know the auto box won’t overrun on D but in theory it should in manual mode. Please enlighten me.
  7. Can’t find much info on this, is it possible to convert an auto box to sequential? Also how much bhp can the standard auto’s gearbox internals cope with?
  8. Im not, Im talking about when the heater controls were in place. yeah, cheers for the link i'll get one ordered.
  9. Im in a village between Loughborough and Leicester. Went down to London to pick the car up.
  10. Coolant level is fine and yes i have tried it when the engine is at running temp. i will flush, refill and bleed the system 1st. As the dash is off i have been advised to change the matrix anyway but i am just a bit reluctant if there is nothing wrong with it, i wonder if there is any way of checking how old and what condition it is in.
  11. Can anyone give me a list of how and what to check to diagnose why there is no heat coming through the interior vents. I currently have the dash off doing interior work so I was going to change the matrix anyway-is there any way of checking the matrix's condition?
  12. Nope, just thought id sort the interior first as it was a bit shabby + I haven’t seen a supra with the top dash flocked as yet . Other plans – currently have a 3” decat on order so going for the BPU. Also all the plastic bodywork bits are getting sprayed up as I speak. Then I’m going to enjoy the car for a few weeks before I start on other bits (power! And maybe sequential box). Oh yeah and some black rims.
  13. thanks for the advice HateEvent, i will do the heater matrix, i just need to find out if i can bleed the system myself.
  14. Hi guys, been a member of the club for a while researching leading up to the purchase of my supra. [/img] Bought her a few weeks ago now - gz (pretty much standard). I’ve got big plans for the car. 1st off I’m attacking the dash - flocking, vinyling and dying the carpet. Previous and current state below. excuse the acne after pics in a couple of weeks:) Cheers, Phil
