That equation is more acute for Australia than it is for China. Without export of iron ore and the coal to smelt it, Australia would lose around half of it's GDP and become bust overnight.

In Mikes case, after he has nailed on his supercharger, the VVTI will be useful to reduce the torque at low revs. Quite the opposite to a map for a normally aspirated engine.

Have you managed to find my 3 offerings that disappeared to where the sun doesn't shine? My Supra had the exact same behaviour and it turned out to be the subframe bolts were seized and not tightening. Cost to fix. FREE. On a road surface, without jacking it up, with the engine running, get someone to turn the steering wheel left and right a little bit. Whilst they do, both watch & feel the aluminium subframe for any movement. If there is no movement there, whilst you're on your back, do the same with the rack mounting bushes and trackrods.

Also check for any slack in wheel bearings. Or the pin-ends on steering rack. Or steering rack rubber bush mounts.
