Nowt wrong with the battery location, I just don't like the chavtastic "style" of making the inside of a car look like the inside of a shed.

Modified cars require regular tinkering and with this in mind, I cannot understand the obsession to hide as many under bonnet components as possible and making them more difficult to maintain. This same obsession of hiding things that were already hidden under the bonnet, then become nailed inside the car in clear sight making it look like the inside of a shed. Rant over.

An N/A ECU can't control a T.T. transmission so I doubt that it is, see if it has a transmission line feed cable on the throttle body, if so it's an N/A box.

Have you checked for any fault codes?
