  1. It's not the air getting into first the charge-cooler pre rad and then into the engine rad, it's the having not much space to get out because theirs a slab aluminium in the way. In the good old days, we used to do this in the winter with a piece of hardboard to prevent airflow and increase under bonnet and engine coolant temperature to keep your feet warm, however not the best idea with an engine that will be generating at least twice the stock amount of heat on a summers day. It looks the nogs dobblies, and I'm not weeing on bonfires, yet surely I cannot be the only person that understands that you can only get in through the front, same as what can get out of the back?
  2. The charge will still get most of it's cool at the expense of less engine coolant cooling, my concern is loss of air flow through the radiator?
  3. For the benefit of a few hen's feathers, please would the O.P. or a Mod simply remove those 2 trees in the wood and let the dogs see the rabbit? Or would that spoil a good old old wives witch hunt? Please don't think I disapprove of the objections, I would love to see this outcry for correctly written English spread across the site and restore the Club's Fog index. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunning_fog_index
  4. Supra lover talk for, "I will sell it at the fair asking price, no tyre kickers or low ballers", which is a lot better than the usual "gauging interest" b#ll#cks. Message to the O.P. edit those 2 highlighted words out for the benefit of the standards of Club written English, for which the whole site by sheer force of number of numbnuts has descended into a dickless Dicks mobile phone playpen. (It took me an hour last night to decipher a 3 short line dyslexic grunt in the Tech section) http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?325994-Starting-Issue-After-Battery-Relocation-ect-HELP-(-Video&p=4116381&viewfull=1#post4116381
  5. Excuse my delayed response, now that I have translated your technical questions into English to understand them, for your convenience, I have translated the answers back into your chosen tongue. 1. Yesh it du an berrer on blok an een berrerer on ed an box unall. 2. Berrer wi annuner, all the way darlin.
  6. As this rear passenger plumbing is still available, does "rarely ever bought" actually count as a "super rare item"?
  7. I have been searching for a "How to change your alternator brushes" thread, but it appears that all of us who know how to do this has kept it a secret, maybe because we learned it from reading the Workshop Manual? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/content.php?51-Repair-Manuals That's as far as I'll go with PDF, the Matrix/Labyrinth game is all yours,
  8. Would you like me to send you by p.m. a few secret swear words to help?
  9. The mileage at the time of failures would be useful information too. A taxed new transmission will last longer than taxing an old transmission, in other words, when buying a used box for an uprated task, the lower it's mileage the longer it will serve you. How many miles the box travelled at the uprated power before it failed would be useful information, as would be a History of road, track and drag activities.
  10. Those were the days eh. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?330771-New-owner-2JZGE-need-some-advice&p=4115952&viewfull=1#post4115952 I have given the above post your suggested title, maybe it'll make it easier to find?
  11. Posting this here will make for easy future reference. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?330917-Transmission-Register-BHP-Ratings-How-much-can-they-take&p=4116243&viewfull=1#post4116243
  12. Link to thread to find out what transmissions can really take? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?330917-Transmission-Register-BHP-Ratings-How-much-can-they-take&p=4116243&viewfull=1#post4116243
  13. Good idea Noz, make sure that folks talk includes talking in torque, especially yours, and this could make good reference. An A343/0E Hybrid transmission has I believe been run up to 550ftlb by dr_jekyll and maybe 600?ftlb by viper, but I have never had a straight answer from either of them? Jagman is soon to be running one up to 600ftlb? in his Soarer. Watch this space. I keep tabs on all of the Hybrids as best that I can, they sneak around and hide a bit, but they're all still out there tearing up tarmac somewhere? Here's a link to the life story of each and every one of them. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?discussionid=91&do=discuss P.S. Here you'll find the missing "commonly predicted" numbers to help you complete your chart. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?330771-New-owner-2JZGE-need-some-advice&p=4115952&viewfull=1#post4115952
  14. That does look better than the backwards baseball cap version. Rear roof spoiler BTW.
  15. Check the compression and then you can stop guessing/worrying about piston rings.
  16. Nowt wrong with the ad, this will sell if it hasn't already.
  17. You can buy the brushes for less than the cost of fuel it takes to collect them. Off & onning half a dozen nuts & bolts and some good old fashion cursing, will soon fix that.
  18. Wrong assumption. If that was blown nothing would work, more likely down to worn brushes in alternator.
  19. Did you go to the Jazz1 school of photography?
  20. Can this be plumbed into the cooling system to keep the rear passengers feet warm?
  21. Pity you missed out on the Space Shuttle, on one occasion I sneaked through NASA security for a front row experience, at 3 miles the shock waves almost took me off my feet and made it difficult to breath, captured some fabulous photo's too. But a 6.9 on the Richter scale earthquake experience wins hands down in sheer Awesomeness. I have been struck by lightening on three occasions and the second one of those is probably my most Awesome experience so far, coincidentally, that lasted around 4 seconds too, however, I am hoping not to try a fourth time.
