I have yet to see the inside of a Tiptronic box, yet I believe that the only difference between that and a T.T. auto is the valve-body & loom, which means that a Hybrid could be built with a Tiptronic donor.
Nevertheless, I can't see the point of reinventing Mr T's work for the sake of it, used with N/A-T or 1UZ builds or T.T. auto to tiptronic upgrade, I would sooner leave the Tiptronic valve-body in and shim-up the actuators for faster-firmer shifts and run it with a piggy-backed VVTI Tiptronic ECU.
