Give that man a House Point.
  2. There has been a few crying because they have tinkered and broke them. If you have found a source other than Mr. T. post it up for the benefit of others.
  3. Second-hand, you'll need to buy complete with hub, or new from Mr T. for an arm or leg?
  4. Too much weight on one side is twisting the chassis.
  5. Out of the blue, an MR2 in the "garages" has all of a sudden gained many thousands of views and become the 5th most viewed Supra in the Club! http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php Has a Mod pressed a wrong button?

Chris Evans is the most annoying prat on the box.
  7. It's been a long time since I rocked that roll and can't remember those details. M8 or M10 1.5 or 1.25? The weakest point is the aluminium threads in the head and with more steel further into them can only make them stronger.
  8. I used stainless steel bolts and cut the heads off to convert them to studs, this allows the stud to use the 10mm? of unused threads in the holes. They need installing with 2 nipped nuts and with more stud into the aluminium threads they are stronger than stock and never rust. Cheap as chips too.
  9. You might see some you like here? https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Toyota+supra+17%22+wheels&espv=2&biw=1366&bih=679&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj3nLOKiv3MAhVrKsAKHfcvDDAQsAQILw&dpr=1#tbm=isch&q=Toyota+supra+with+17%22+wheels
  10. The best bet by a country mile, would be to take up girth45's offer of his plug & play fit A02A open diff, which would get you going again for £100 and give you the opportunity to wait for the right Torsen to come along at the right money. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?334120-Broken-diff-advice-needed&p=4147691&viewfull=1#post4147691 P.S. You haven't reported back yet re. current diff ID on the VIN plate?
  11. Building a diff is a work of art, if you go down that route, factor in the cost of paying a man who can.
  12. Drifting doesn't float my boat, yet I'm willing to forgive that to see Supra's featured competing on prime time television.
  13. On 5th Gear this week there were a selection of Supra's drifting, yet was no more popular on here than a fart in church. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?334109-Supra-s-drifting-on-5th-gear-NOW&p=4147633#post4147633
  14. Not looking for a bitch slapping competition and merely responding at your request; I have been dropping hints for some time re. your inflationary sales practices, however, the new order of, god is money and money is god, clearly leads to blindness for discretion. I thought that £50 for a broken old laptop was a reasonable deal, thank you. However, £500 for an old A02B, I and apparently many others think is clearly not, I appreciate that you need a skip full of money to give to SRD, yet suggest that you spend less time pissing off Club members and put more time in at work.
  15. Please excuse my continued discretion, I will tell you what I'm on about in a more direct manner. Your for sale threads are disguised inflationary Dutch auctions and/or for items that are not even available for sale, this greedy attitude of deliberately inflating used parts prices is pissing members off.
  16. Frayed I'm knot quite nerdish enough to confirm or deny? I suggest that you refer to the Workshop Manual and let us know.
  17. Biscuits taken and now property chains encouraged for old Supra components.
  18. Take a look at the VIN plate and see what diff it was born with. (As shown in link I gave you)
  19. T.T. diff prop flange here. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?334120-Broken-diff-advice-needed
  20. Is it windy? I thought it was Thursday? Would you like a cup of tea?
  21. Here you go. http://cg-lock.stores.yahoo.net/ocsteq.html
  22. Nearly? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-IS220-IS250-MK2-18-inch-alloys-set-4-wheels-with-tires-245-40ZR18-/272254864372?fits=Car+Make%3ALexus&hash=item3f63a78bf4:g:zAUAAOSwintXRsBd
  23. Info in this link explains the diff codes. http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/specs.htm
  24. They're both made by Toyota, Torsen is an abbreviation for "Torque-sensing" and is just one of many different types of LSD.
  25. An A02A open diff would do the job but an A02B Torsen would do it better. Please don't bin the prop flange on your broken unit, that'll get you £25 back.
