The stat holds it steady at 80-85C, have never seen more than 90.

I run two oil coolers, one of them open circuit and the other via a Mocal thermostat and have a fluid temp gauge, the actuators are shimmed and I add Lucas SS to the fluid. These tweaks I regard essential for any transmission running more than stock power.

With 2 big coolers you'll need a thermostat, I used a Mocal.

If you go that route, use an open diff case it's just the same and a lot cheaper and avoids destroying a perfectly good Torsen.

Do yourself a favour and stick on a pair of pre-loved 295 40's and give yourself the opportunity to experience the way easier, far cheaper and much better option. After you have toasted the tyres, should you then fit the A02B you could find out the expensive way that it will then cost a lot more money to convert back to the preferable and formerly cheaper option.
