  1. I did DIY mine, it was a really fiddly job, first building a flat surface on the back of the aluminium frame to work from, using liquid metal before filing flat and drilling and tapping the fixings. The connecting terminals need the sheathing cutting off and the terminals bending to 90 degrees and soldering the wires on, then cut holes in the steering wheel rear cowl to clear paddles and cut the top 10mm? off of column cowls to clear. It's a job I wouldn't want to do again, yet if they're the same as I have now, it would be handy if I had a spare pair of paddles, if you want to part with them we can haggle by p.m.
  2. List of em here, along with pretty pictures. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?discussionid=144&do=discuss
  3. A 2 box 2.5" system will be sweet with no cats and you'll have no trouble selling it on to then fund a common or garden 1 box 3" jobbie.

  5. T.T. transmission for £250 here. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172402941325?ul_noapp=true
  6. My old dog Rover has learned a new trick, the fuel gauge goes down with the fuel level until the low fuel warning light comes on, then the gauge starts going up. Yesterday this caught me out, I ran out of fuel as I pulled up at the pump. What are the chances of that?
  7. How could it be more troublesome to have it made from 2.5" instead of 3"? Edit: I misread the post, thought the O.P. was having one made.
  8. A 2 box system with 2.5" pipe sounds a treat with no cats, it's the 3" T.T. 1 box varieties that make your ears bleed.
  9. With power to pull the ratio, 40 profile tyres on 18" wheels are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better in every respect than 35's.
  10. Might as well call it Tempted Fate.
  11. (Correction: Note: J3 bellhousing is 18mm? deeper than J1.) Found this photograph of torque-converters in my archives, N/A (GE) J1 on left, T.T. (GTE) J3 on right.

  13. Neither is better than the other and can only guess at which would be the less worse.
  14. Overruling democracy would be a bigger issue than Brexit.
  15. N/A box here for £80. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/toyota-supra-gearbox-/282224940092?hash=item41b5ead43c:g:vEYAAOSwYIxYBmMo

    Hi

I can empathise why Sunny may be a more popular name up there than Midge.
