  1. You have broken the tip off the induction pulse damper, the car wont run without that pipe as it feeds vacuum to MAP sensor. It will run okay without the damper, so if you are stuck, temporarily T off a vacuum feed to the MAP sensor from another vacuum pipe close to manifold union and plug the hole in the pulse damper.
  2. A set of winter wheels shod with 40 profile Pirelli Sottozero is as good as it gets for Supra driving this time of the year.
  3. Maybe this is someone who is considering buying a 422 bhp (torque not disclosed) Supra running a W58 Chocolate Box?
  4. I have had a look at that fm movies site, but my computer tells me that it's a bad idea to use it.
  5. Style over function with low ride height and low tyre profile is where it all goes tits up. If you lower it more than 10 - 15mm from stock, the traction & handling will be worse. If you run less than 40 profile tyres, the traction & handling will be worse. If the wheel offsets are not very similar to stock, the traction & handling will be worse. If you don't have the geometry adjusted for any such changes, the traction & handling will be worse. If you run on budget brand tyres, the traction & handling will be worse. If you run road legal track tyres, a couple of leaves on the road will swap traction & handling for brown pants.
  6. What size wheels and what profile tyres?
  7. Download this onto your ipad whilst you're at it.

  9. And thank you for posting and resolving your technical thread.
  10. Please don't think that I haven't suggested so, in my usual subtle way.
  11. I have a brother in law who owns a normally aspirated Jaguar XK, nevertheless, he insists that it has a supercharger because the salesman told him it had one, I have shown him what it says in the drivers hand book and had the bonnet up and shown to him that it doesn't have a supercharger, regardless, he closed the bonnet to hide his reality and insisted that it had one somewhere, because the second hand car salesman mate he bought it from had said so. And I dare wonder where they come from!
  12. Probabaly, a GS300............... When that ACIS valve opens!
  13. The Old Wives are really at it today.
  14. That post has gladdened my day, just in case it disappears before we've all had a laugh, I here quote it and preserve it for history.
  15. Update on this: When I posted the above, in a futile effort to avoid a few hapless GE owners Globally stepping into massive wind-up, I messaged the seller and advised that these cams would fit GTE yet only the inlet would fit GE. No reply from the dipstick was received, however, they have been reduced to £170.01 for a pair. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172220627396?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I'm not up to speed with black friday such things, but that price is amazing for a pair of GTE camshafts, a GE owner could fit the inlet and make a table lamp out of the exhaust?
  16. I can't remember his handle, yet there's a member on here with a V8 Supra who's fitting a turbo at the back?
  17. It's the turbo that you fit in the boot.
  18. Chris may think that Black Friday is a power cut whilst at the Pub.
  19. My mistake, apparently Budapest is somewhere in Cambridgeshire.
