  1. That sounds expensive, I would have taken it one at a time. The fuel filter is under the passengers left foot. You need to be cautious of this little job, as it is common for them to have been overtightened by Mr T. This can bell out the end of the pipe inside the filter and make it impossible to get out. Worse case scenario is need to replace fuel line. No need to buy a new coil, if you need one, I have recently taken a perfectly good one out of mine when I replaced it with an MSD Blaster. That reminds me, I must get it on the for sale forum.
  2. Apparently it is only compatible with auto boxes that operate with 2 solenoids. The difference between the N/A and the TT auto trans, is to do with whatever function the cable from the throttle linkage to the gearbox serves on the N/A. This function is controlled electronically with the TT box, and is beyond the 'brain' of this unit. Happy wire counting The installation details are shown in the link below. http://www.latentsolutions.com/SSv4.6.pdf
  3. I am assured by Garrett Rowe, the man who designed and makes the SuprastickVV4, that it is not compatible with the TT auto box. He should know.
  4. I don't have the technical details, this kit was recomended by a friend to give a more positive gear change. As far as I am aware, it is a set of sleeves that increase the oil pressure. The VV4 is only compatible with the Supra auto box that has the cable from the throttle linkage to the trans. The TT doesn't have this.
  5. They can be a P.I.T.A, this item was posted as in stock, yet 3 weeks after payment, informed me they were on back order. That was in November. I have let it roll, because not found it elsewhere, and have plenty of other things to be getting on with. They claim they will be in by mid feb. I want to be kind to the trans, and install this, a cooler, new filter and have a complete flush before the VV4 goes in. I don't know what power the engine currently has, but sufficient to require the extra T.T. mounting rubber to stop the Torsen twisting about.
  6. Suprastore sell a kit, I am waiting for delivery. It is supposed to beef up the trans and give a 'less whooshy' more positive gear change.
  7. They are all the same other than a little tag on the top. File it off and they fit in any of the holes. I have some, but holding out to use as swop/part exchange for seat heater switches.
  8. That's one of the reasons I have chosen to fit the VV4, it takes the auto box out of the AEM equasion. This unit works with N/A auto's but not T.T's. Will fit it after the trans upgrade and cooler are in. I can then use it in auto for the daily around town trundle, and go flappy paddle for weekend sprints and 'B' road blasting.
  9. Jamie, Thank's for the info, but not sure what an 'FIC' might be? Sticking with the auto box, and installing a Suprastick VV4. The VV4 is on and offable, so will wire the AEM eco and gogo maps, to be eco with auto, and flappy paddle with gogo.
  10. Stock crank, water pump, PSP pulley and crank bolt, 60k. Crank pulley looks perfect with no sign of seperation. £40 inc P&P SOLD
  11. Pair OEM cam gears, 60k, perfect, removed for adjustable cam gears upgrade. £10 inc P&P
  12. OEM water pump, 60k, fits N/A or T.T, perfect working order. Removed for electric water pump upgrade. £25 inc P&P.
  13. I am working my way through the project job list. When the AEM ECU's turn comes around, is it possible to have two maps stored, one for economy, and another for performance, and be switchable between the two?
  14. Last chance, putting it on ebay later today.
  15. Do you have rodents in your garage? If you have a standard air box, take a look inside and check that mice have not set up home in there! Have come across this a couple of times with cars that have been standing during the winter months. An odd occurance, but an easy fix as long as they have not chewed up the loom too.
  16. Courtesy of 'Robert', I now only need to find 2
  17. Consider fitting a new crank pulley. Not 'cheap', but cheaper than repairing the damage caused by a failed one.
