  1. Tyres are new, correct size for wheels and correct and even pressures. There is however, a very light tapping from the O/S rear when going over sleeping policemen and potholes, this I suspect to be the strut top. Oddly, the tapping can only be noticed for the first few miles, then all is quiet. To look at the car from the rear, the camber does look a little excessive, but the tyre wear is even and the car handles well. It is starting to look like the camber could be the culprit, but odd that it didn't show up until the Torsen was fitted? Or maybe the hub was not exactly the same. Either way, looks like a full geometry check is in order.
  2. Upgraded to U.K. spec discs with reconditioned 4 pot front & 2 pot rear calipers and new pads a few weeks ago. Wheels and tyres are new too. I was planning a suspension upgrade and geometry check after I had finished the works on engine and gearbox, but if the tyre pressure check does not reveal the problem, it looks like this will become priority one.
  3. I control the tyre pressures regularly, and they have been checked since the diff went in, but I haven't checked them this week, I will do so first thing tomorrow.
  4. No, but nothing was moved that would affect the rear geometry.
  5. Since installing a Torsen diff, to my N/A auto, and changing the N/S drive shaft and hub. I have noticed that during hard acceleration when changing up a gear, the car momentarily pulls left, and during deceleration when changing down, momentarily pulls to the right. I have since added the extra TT diff mounting rubber to the sub frame, but this hasn’t cured it? Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
  6. Ask Nic, he is clued up on the original OEM offerings.
  7. Will post of course, unless 'East Anglia' is within walking distance of Kettering? Please note that these parts are only good for non ABS Supra's.
  8. No prob, let us all know the prices.
  9. It would fit perfectly, but is not compatible with your ABS fitted Supra. The ABS driveshaft has a castleated rim, and the hub has a sensor mounting hole, with a sensor that registers the passing 'ups and downs'. The ABS, shafts and hubs are O.K. for both ABS, and non ABS Supra's, yet, non ABS shafts and hubs are only good for non ABS Supra's. These are up for grabs because I have fitted an ABS hub and driveshaft to my non ABS Supra on the nearside only. These sensors are to be utilised to feed road speed information to the Suprastick VV4 I am fitting. Supra auto trans speed sensors only give 4 blips per revolution, X 4.083 diff gives around 16 blips per wheel revolution. Using an ABS sensor gives 48 blips per wheel revolution which allows the VV4 ECU to do a better job. Hope that answers your question.
  10. Have all the parts you might need up for grabs here, as long as your's doesn't have ABS. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=2659494&posted=1#post2659494
  11. The back plate lip has been removed to accomodate the larger U.K. brake disc, this can be left as is, or replaced with yours. There is not an ABS sensor in the hub, so it is only compatible with non ABS Supra's.

  16. Standard 82oC thermostat, tried and tested £5 + £1 P&P Sold to m
  17. My thoughts also. This $90 kit has been reported to quicken the gear change, and is claimed to increase the trans bhp capabillity. The faster change should make the VV4 more fun to play with, and a mild beefing up, a new filter and full fluid flush should help to keep the trans reliable with the Suprastick changes and a few extra horses.
  18. Mine is running on a 10mm allen bolt. The difference between 12 and 14mm is a matter of 'brail' thesedays. Maybe I should get myself to Specsavers
  19. Gav, Looks like 3 wires more for the TT in those diagrams? Will soon know more about the upgrade kit, just received a tracking number for it

  21. N/A coil, perfect working order, taken off for upgrade to MSD Blaster. £10 + £5 P&P
