  2. Only takes 2 minutes to do, Torsens are worth £50 more than open diffs. That's £25 a minute.
  3. Take the backplate off and look inside. Simples.
  4. Looking for a dead TT power steering pump to tinker with please.
  5. I have had all sorts of complications trying to get a little brazing job done to a bespoke fuel regulator mounting connector/bracket, it would appear that I live in a brazerless zone. Consequently, a plea for help was posted on here, and club member 'chrispot' kindly offered assistance by post. This person whom I have never met, has made the 'dogs danglies' of a job. :) This simple component, now with it's little gold filling, has become the shiniest piece of all. What a Supraman. CHRIS, THANK YOU VERY MUCH :):):)
  6. I stand corrected again. Apparently the correct title is, 'Power steering reservoir'. Now we have established this, maybe one can be found. With many being replaced with bling versions, there must be a redundant OEM one lurking somewhere?
  7. LHD conversion had crossed my mind too It's a brand spanking new RHD Toyota drivers side arm. But now you mention your paint job................. I seem to remember that this anomaly began after fitting a U.K. T.T. bonnet scoop? It is fitted in exactly the same position as the TT, and in the same holes, does anyone know if the TT has a different part no. for the drivers side arm?
  8. Looking for a TT power steering header tank with hoses?
  9. The OEM wiper on drivers side only, was wiping up and missing the most important patch on way down. Fitted Mr T. spoilers. Wipe up, judder and skip down. :( Replaced the inserts with aftermarket rubbers. Wipe up, judder, skip and squeak down. :( Replaced all blades with Trico Neoform. Wipe up, and miss the most important patch on way down. :( :( Fitted new OEM arm. Wipe up, and miss the most important patch on way down. :( :( Passenger side and rear work perfectly? Aaaaaaargh!
  10. Thank's for the info re. need warning light for rears.
  11. Thank's Scooter, looks like i'll have to wait until my workshop manuals arrive.
  12. Before anyone asks! http://www.g20.net/forum/showthread.php?t=66743 But i'm still none the wiser?
  13. My hybridised/modified dash is nearing completion, yet before installing, have a couple of queeries. On J spec, should there be a dash info light indicating when front fog lights are on? On UK spec, is there be a dash info light to indicate when rear fog lights are on? Thank you
  14. Yes I have a pair of tyres for sale Yes they are very good tyres Yes it's a very good deal No they are not directional Anyone who doubts this, should try something called 'reading'
  15. There you go http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vredestein/Ultrac-Sessanta.htm http://bbs.scoobynet.com/trader-announcements-363/640103-tyres-vredestein-ultrac-sessanta.html
  16. They are non directional 'parametric' tyres. Stick like **** to a blanket and very good in the wet. Here's a bit of bumf, but there's a lot more on the net, these tyres have been voted the top dogs danglies. "The Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta is the newest ace in the Ultra High Performance (UHP) segment. The Sessanta is based on the strong points of the Ultrac series and has been optimised even further to give very good steering and handling characteristics. Giugiaro Design has given the Ultrac Sessanta an innovative design, with a line pattern that clearly shows that performance comes first. The name Sessanta refers to the sixty years of Vredestein's existence in Enschede. In tribute to Vredestein's unique collaborative partnership with Giugiaro Design, "sixty" will be written in Italian: sessanta. Parametric design - from the drawing board to the shelf The Ultrac Sessanta is designed parametrically. This means that the tread construction, shape and contours are optimised for every size using mathematical formulae based on design parameters. Each size of the Ultrac Sessanta therefore offers maximum design quality."
  17. Power Steering Pump Power Assisted Steering Excuse 'the wrong trousers'. I am looking for a TT PAS header tank and hoses to fit to my N/A. This then allows me to use TT intercooler pipework to blast a cold draft through the centre of my inlet manifold. N/A's like cool air too
  18. Digital clock £5 + £1 P&P SOLD
  19. Active spoiler switches, complete with socket and first piece of loom. £20 each inc P&P SOLD
