  1. Looking for a cruise control stalk for 3 spoke wheel please.
  2. That's how I hybridised mine, except mine was a Tiptronic wheel, and car not wired up for airbag.
  3. I have had a poke around, and as long as there are enough contacts in the 'whirlygoround', it looks to be a simple enough job to marry a cruise control control, to my existing wheel. Will start a new thread. Anyone need the innards for an airbag?
  4. I haven't quite worked it out yet either It is a standard size throttle body that I have taper reamed from entry to just short of the butterfly. The only explanation I can come up with is, the cold air ram, plenum, insulation and cold air ventilation are working very well. Because the air inducted is cooler and denser, there is more of it. Click the link below to see pics.
  5. Thank's for that idea. Took a peek at Carl0s's profile, but no car shots. Will see what Lexus has to offer, but starting to look like marrying the control arm to the wheel I have is favourite. No rush, will hold out for a while, have plenty of more important jobs to do.
  6. Mmmm, interested to know if your car has the loom for cruise? Large round grey socket on inner wing, close to brake master cylinder.
  7. Keron informs me that there are Tiptronic wheels with cruise control. If anyone knows, he does. He also informs me that he recently sold one to a member, but can't remember who. As my my first post.......... If this member is not utilising the cruise function, maybe he would be willing to trade with mine. If I can't locate one, will take this control function from a non Tiptronic wheel, and marry to the one I already have.
  8. AEM have a questions and answers forum, you can ask questions, but rarely get answers. Probably because most have been answered before. Use the search button on there and all can be found.
  9. Since modifying the engine, cruise at 100mph is now only around 1mm of pedal depression and cruise at 70mph is around 0.5mm. With such a fine tolerance, it has become difficult to regulate cruising speed. My Supra already has the loom, so adding cruise control, is 'plug and play'. Ultimately, I will redesign the throttle cable ramp, but this 'patch' will do for now.
  10. Gay horn eh Must remember to put that on my upgrade list It does go off sometimes, but only when provoked by loud low frequency noises, maybe Chris is a chainsaw snorer? But that aside, does anyone know if this proposed re-wire is possible?
  11. My Cobra alarm has it's own horn mounted in the engine bay. But where it is sited, I want to fit the cruise control motor. Can I remove the cobra hooter and wire the alarm into the car horns, or must I re-site the Cobra hooter?
  12. I have a good set, in Kettering.
  13. If I don't find a trade, and buy another, you can have first dibs, it's a good un I need the Tipronic buttons to control the Suprastick flappy paddle gear change, but since modifying the engine, cruise at 100mph is only 1mm pedal depression and cruise at 70mph is around .5mm. With such a fine tolerance, it has become difficult to regulate cruising speed. My Supra already has the loom, so now adding cruise control. If I can't find one, will take the controls from a standard 4 spoke and 'splice' it in to this one.
  14. Looking for a Tiptronic steering wheel with cruise control. I have one without cruise control that could be traded if you don't use this function, or I will buy.
  15. The TT diff has a larger bolt spacing on the flange than the N/A.
  16. A 3400 here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=212511
  17. The OEM spec is 8 to 12, so is that 18 to 19 BTDC you are proposing?
  18. My N/A project is nearly completed too, just the tappets to re-shim now that the weather has warmed up enough for my fingers to manipulate a micrometer, and the oil coolers and Suprastick to fit then on the rollers it goes.
  19. Try here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=203146
  20. The hose is not important, it is the component that connects the hose to the power steering pump that I need.
  21. They are available from Mr T. but I always ask on here first, it costs me less, and benefits another member. :)
  22. There must be one of these lurking on a dead pump under someones garage bench somewhere?
  23. Looking for a TT power steering pump reservoir hose connector and fixing bolt please.
