  2. Good nick, can post in the morning first class for a fiver?
  3. I have one in silver, paint in good condition. Here's the only pic I have that shows it. £25 collect, or plus £10 P&P
  4. There are coolers that are an S S pipe with cooling fins, and there are coolers that are II======II II======II II======II II...........II 2 in/outlets into a finned cavity. With the continuous S pipe design, the air would be pushed straight through, but with the other form, mounted with the pipes at the bottom, I can't see how ther air could possibly be bled, just compressed into a smaller pocket at the top when under pressure. Household central heating radiators are fitted in this way, and to remove the air lock, need bleeding from a valve at the top. Unless the exit pipe extends inside the cooler to the top, how could an oil cooler be without the same physics?
  5. I have resurrected this old thread because; I am fitting oil coolers for engine and transmission, and it is much easier to mount them with the hoses at the bottom, but concerned that the coolers will hold air. With a permanent air pocket at the top, the cooler would only partially function, and oil pressure received would lag behind pressure delivered by the pump. I have hunted the net for info yet found nothing other than this post. Does anyone have definitive information?
  6. I have a good one you can have for £40 inc P&P?
  7. Thank's I am very pleased with how it looks, discreetly different, and it also gives me an extra incentive to get back into the dreaded dash and electrics. The active spoiler is getting a total retrofit, along with the cruise.
  8. Not much cause to go to Northamptonjam, I am in the social group, but nothing has been posted for the last 6 months.
  9. Made the most of today's sunshine and had the front bumper off to fit the engine and trans coolers. Whilst it was off, I fitted the active spoiler, recessed the 'offending' Angel Eyes, fitted the stainless grilles and replaced the import plate with a stick on. The project is not quite finished, and the exterior was the least important priority, but has somehow managed to be the first element completed. But it does feels good that something is at last finished. I like it !
  10. New black leather gear gaiter £5 inc P&P SOLD
  11. Good call ! I suggest you look at the TT configuration for AIT, and follow suit. Forced induction, is forced induction. If you have MAP, you will not need MAF as well. Surprised the TT guru's have not responded to your plea? For your reference, attached a snap that shows AEM AIT and MAP sensor locations on my N/A. AIT left, MAP right.
