  1. Pipped at the post. Never mind, maybe your buyer will take a fancy to my wheels?
  2. If they are not bent, fit over U.K. brakes and come with the centre locating rings. I will have them. Could you post some recent pics and tell me the offsets please. P.S. Anyone want a set of Jearo Ruff Racing 8.5 & 9.5 R280 18's fitted with Vredestein Sessanta 255 & 275's?
  3. I have managed to straighten up the wonky power steering pulley, I put the burnt pulley back on, gave it one clunk with the lump hammer and hit the jackpot. Not absolutely sure what moved, I only gave it a 'test' clunk and was dissapointed how easy 'something' bent. It is siezed in that position and spot on, so not tempting fate I have left that pulley on and cleaned it up a bit. I have had my first play on a lathe, and cut the ribs off the water pump pulley ready to face the back of the belt, 'treated' the jig engine with the reworked runners and fitted the gaskets. With the supercharger propped into position I have started working on the charger exit flange, recycling the Jag casting and 2 pieces of the charge cooler, now cut as close as I dare until TIG tacked. I am trying to keep the finished height as low as I can, but the lowest I can get the exit from the charger is still 10 - 12mm higher than the top of core so need to raise the finished height of the brackets to match. There is a flexi silicone hose joint and a 'wonk' to fit inbetween the charger and core. In the pic the core is positioned 10mm above brackets and as far right as it can go without conflict of hose and oil breather connections at the back. I am getting better tooled up for the job, I now have 2 angle grinders fitted with different discs, which saves a lot of time, and Bob has unearthed a 3 phase twin wheel bench grinder which we have fitted overhanging the end of the bench, it will take a 12" polishing mop.
  4. John, What bhp did the engine have when you hit 211 Leptons?
  5. I have just spotted this in another thread. Applying reverse logic to this equasion, my O2 sensors are so 'toastie', maybe it is this that is causing the over fuelling?
  6. Interesting to learn they are 275's, they look wider.

  8. I understand only some of drag racing techniques, and when looking at a Club list that shows 92 T.T's, of which 85 (78%) of them were faster than the slowest single, and only 7 (19%) of the 34 singles were quicker than the fastest T.T. I am curious?
  9. Both 'proof' and 'evidence' are in the Clubs official Supra drag times, and it is informative to learn why there happens to be many TT's that are recorded to be faster than many singles. Very poor post.
  10. That's dissapointing, I was hoping you would offer to come and polish my charge cooler.
  11. Why would this chat make members blood boil? I am midway through a supercharger conversion on my daily drive, and have curiosity for a 'baby bears' bed' power figure.
  12. Good point, that is the 'equasion' of my curiosity. At some point 'faster' fails to become 'quicker'. This 'point' will be different on road, strip or track.
  13. That's another conundrum. Mile events are reputed to 'kill' engines that have big singles. That must only be around 30 seconds @ WOT.
  14. To the contrary, simply a genuine curiosity of the figures.
  15. I have been perusing the drag race times in the 'sticky', and find that most big singles are slower than a BPU T.T.
  16. Keron has an AO1B Tosen for sale. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?676-keron
  17. You will need more than just a switch to get it to work. You can use a 'Garfy' manual controller, or retrofit a dash loom and spoiler ECU and switch from a T.T. If you change the loom, you will need to modify 3 wires for the front wipers that go to the wrong side.
  18. Middle control on right in U.K. spec dash panel.
  19. Good news - bad news update. Bad news; The power steering pump I found on a burnt out engine has a bent shaft and is no good to line up the s.c. pulley. Good news; Shane has offered to lend me a power steering pump and alternator for the jig engine. Bad news; My original supplier of stainless pipe bends has let me down. Good news; Now on their way from Demontweeks. Bad news; The MA70GTE ICV has arrived, but is not quite right for the job. Good news; Have found a JZA80GTE ICV and it's on it's way. I have ordered a 4.2" supercharger pulley, and that should arrive next week. As soon as these odds and sods are here, I can prepare the final pieces of the jigsaw. The glue it all together day is looming.
  20. Just be sure that you can live with LED torches shining into your eyes whilst night driving, before even considering a pillar pod.
  21. Nowadays, policemen get whistled from coarse women
  22. What's the weather like in Latvia
