  1. Thank you for the compliment. I am hoping to have the supercharger on and get to Suprapod and Wicksteed Park meets, maybe there?
  2. I have made some minor changes under the bonnet in readiness for the supercharger and at this time I am using the stock AIT sensor just hanging in the air box next to the filter.
  3. The sun is shining, I can feel my fingers and see what I am doing. The build includes swopping the present 4.083 Torsen for a T.T. auto 3.769 Torsen. This is now cleaned up, has new oil seals and a coat of paint. Done and dusted, ready to go in. It made a pleasant change to start and finish a job in a session. I don't have the donor N/A trans for the hybrid yet and I think the bonnet is getting worried.
  4. It's the AIT (Air Intake Temperature) sensor. Just position it where it will get the same temp air as the filter sucks. It can be before the filter if you like.
  5. Are we three GeeZErs or the three GeeZedEe’rs. If anyone has a link to a 1J or 2J supercharger project, please post it up and I can keep these on one page near the top and build up a database. This 1G-GZE supercharger set-up would be the easiest to transplant onto a Supra, it’s a Toyota made Roots M90 charger and the 1G straight 6 cylinder 2.0 litre engine is not a lot different externally to the 1J and 2J engines and this supercharger is good for 7-8psi. This could easily be developed into a bolt on kit for 1JZ and 2JZ-GE engines. One of these would turn an N/A auto into a tyre smoking stock T.T. Supra slayer. These units can be picked up in Australia for around $150AU. I remember this has been done by someone in Ireland, but I can’t find any details? There is also a part completed 1G-GZE supercharger onto 2JZA80-GE (N/A Supra) project shown @ Nengun performance.
  6. Links to Supercharger build threads, kits, interesting pics and videos, will add as they appear. 7. You obviously don't want to split it, and I requested pm to not disturb your thread. Yes thank you, I know every little quirk of retrofitting cruise.
  8. Yes, you can be lucky and have the correct looms, even if the car has never had cruise. But the 4 pin brake light switch was only fitted to cars with the cruise option.
  9. No plagiarism here then. Best be careful not to overheat your GTZE 'Flux Capacitor'.
  10. Don't put the fear back just yet Looking good Jamie
  11. For better/for worse, there is a growing interest with supercharging Supra's, both N/A and T.T. I (soon to be GZE) have yet to meet either Barney GZE or Adam soon to be GTZE, yet I am sure we will have much to discuss when we do. MkIV club members are becoming/have become World leaders with these Z conversions, I believe we should be proud of this and I have created this group as a focal point. I'm not a 'badge man', but maybe OE looking Supra GZE and GTZE car badges should be awarded out at a Club meet like medals? Barney Brendan, you are hereby awarded the coveted order of the GZE, may your Supra wear this badge with pride! P.S. Post a pic or 2 in the album.
  12. Here it is I do have m.s. paint lurking in there after all !
  13. Please note that the cruise circuits includes a 4 pin brake light switch and a column loom with more connections in the clock spring whirlygoround. I have both a J spec and U.K. spec ECU, the J spec version is limited to around 68mph? U.K. spec is unlimited. p.m. if interested.

Edit: Adam, stop hiding your proto ("A" to) "Z" under a bushel and post a build thread.
  15. Apexi spring loaded version gives the best of both.
  16. Can you work from the gasket, if so, I may have one somewhere.

Adam, stop hiding your proto "Z" under a bushel and post a build thread.

The thread fizzled out! There are some pics somewhere of it installed in a Supra, I will look there. Here is a pic of a 1G-GZE supercharged engine and pic 4 off that Google page link, an N/A engine with the 1G-GZE supercharger. (It's in there somewhere?) One of these would fit just as sweetly onto a T.T. or single set up.

Yes, that's what I have been looking for, I was curious to learn what charger it was, I will go and study the thread. Thank you maybe your not such a --@- after all. I have been looking into the fit of the 1G-GZE supercharger onto the 2JZA80-GTE engine. Not that I am planning to do it, I am still busy with my 2JZA80-GZE project, but I just love these scrapyard challenges.

It did work I thought the pics would be random. 1 and 15 are the twincharged 2JZA80-GTZE, but it is not with the 1G-GZE charger, but number 4 is a 2JZA80-GE with the 1GZE charger which is the one I think easiest to fit to a 2JZA80GTE. I hope that makes sense?
