  1. It turns out that the ebay vendor of the donor N/A trans was club member comorin219, thank you. He is quietly tinkering about in his garage upgrading an N/A block to T.T. spec and fitting it with a big single.
  2. I live in Kettering where the busiest junction in the county has been closed for several months whilst the traffic lights have been replaced with a 2 roundabout system. However, now completed the local f*ckwits charge across them without indicating taking up both lanes and now it is far worse than before! There should be a f*ckwit ticket that the police can dole out, £100 on the spot fine with 5 points, paid now or walk home. The Government would make a fortune, road safety would improve, insurance policies would be reduced and there would be room on the roads for those who deserve to use them.
  3. I have tried this without success, there is an answer machine with a message saying that they are not capable of answering the telephone until 5th April, but emails will be answered, however, they forgot to give their email address or to speak clearly enough for the name of the company to be audible.
  4. Conditions Of Employment have been eroded to breaking point and recession fuels the greed of those that have the most. The wunch of bankers responsible for this mess are hoisting up the ladder behind them, they're bonus payments have to come from somewhere! About time we had a revolution, maybe?
  5. A slight change of schedule. I will be fetching the donor N/A trans tomorrow. Will see what I can do with the hybrid this weekend.
  6. Wszystkiego Najlepszego I hope you had enough sok with your vitamina to avoid the cats.
  7. I have added one to my N/A rear subframe in supercharger readiness. I knocked it out of a wrecked TT subframe with a chisel and put it into mine with a drift.
  8. Petrol isn't £10 a litre yet.
  9. Tat you may need to break to sell. But as long as you like it.....
  10. They will if you use the TT head, engine loom and ECU.
  11. Go without one, and come back with. Simples. It's not 'if' but don't know 'when'.
  12. Face lift, nip and tuck.
  13. I have a straight spare with rough paint to play with, once I have chosen the route to take.
  14. I just do the fabrication, then arrange for TIG Stig to weld. Which sounds simple enough, but gets complicated. It's out of my comfort zone, but it looks like I shall have to have a go. I will be looking to achieive a cross between the Do-Luck and the Maranello.
  15. That's another option to add to my list to choose from.
  16. Thank you for your input, but that's too 'Mad Max' for me. It's the width of 28" I need that is the problem.
  17. What is the width of that Barney?
  18. This is the widest I can find, but I need to span 28". http://www.mrhoodscoop.com/servlet/the-406/chevy-silverdao-hood%2C-chevy/Detail
  19. Toyota are selling off new old stock of complete 1G-GZE supercharged engines if you want one going cheap?
  20. Does that mean the Do-Luck copies are still available?
  21. I have a spare bonnet to play with, but not sure how to tackle it, this was looking a simpler route. I cannot find a 'hood scoop' wide enough, and unsure whether to beat a bulge into it, or to cut, lift and weld in fillets?
  22. You're correct I hadn't, it was an assumption to ask in this manner implied so. It was helpful too in a kind of way. I had noo idea they were so costly.
  23. So it looks like the choice is between a new real one, a second-hand real one or a second hand one with a free gap. If a new one costs that much then I will be too tight to pay even a used price. By deduction, it looks like I am after a second hand IBK.
