  1. The deed is done, the Hybrid A343/0E is in and working perfectly in both auto and manualised mode with the Suprastick. Also fitted the 3.769 Torsen, T.T. auto prop, removed the unused fuel breather pipe and replaced it with the water/meth pipe. The operation of this transmission is more positive and the N/A engine doesn't seem to mind the taller gearing.
  2. I have been off line for the last 2 days, I downloaded IE8 but it lost text recognition? This was surprisingly difficult to sort out, now using Google Chrome as the workaround. The cable, oil and pipe have all turned up. The Hybrid now has a longer cable and is built up ready to go in. Plumbed in the water/meth system on the jig engine, but will need to adjust the position of distribution block to make room for the boost gauge sensor. Back-on-schedule for the transmission and drive-line change tomorrow.

    Hello Supra boys

Hello Sailor, does your user name translate as 'Horny book MkIV'?
  4. Without the cable, it looks like I won't be changing the transmission this weekend, so instead have made up the 2 x Jaguar X300 pre rads back-to-back into one unit, using Supra radiator rubbers to mount the pre rad legs to the bracket and the top mounts are Jag rubbers with sleeve spacers and body washers. Will begin fitting these and the aluminium shelf for the HHO generators and 2 electric pumps. It's going to be busy up front, maybe I need to look at extra ventilation options.
  5. Keron is your best bet.
  6. Maybe that explains the recent devaluation of Supra's?
  7. Speedograph Ritchfield require 2 weeks to do a 5 minute job. Redline DS4 is now only available in Europe packaged in baby bottles. The 6mm nylon pipe for the water/meth is green. A wind-up 'Hat-Trick'. I hope that means the job will go like clock-work.
  8. Take it out, strip it down and carefully beat it straight, you may need to renew most of the fixings too. Or just replace it. With the bar back to the correct shape, the spoiler then should be also.
  9. That's the second scoop/cowl you have turned up Barney, nip out and lay a mould onto a Land Rover Puma bulge and I will accept your third offer. The transmission line feed pressure cable needed to be 185mm longer to reach the supercharger Lexus throttle body and one has been ordered from Speedograph Ritchfield, as soon as I have this cable, the transmission fluid and some 6mm nylon hose for the water/meth feed, the hybrid can go in.
  10. Anyone interested before these get ebayed?
  11. I have bought another set of wheels and tyres for my Supra, so these are now available. Jearo Ruff Racing R280 18" wheels with satin black spokes, polished rims and TRD carbon look centre badges. These staggered fit wheels clear U.K. brakes and no need to roll rear arches, they are a perfect Supra fit. Fronts 8 1/2" J 30mm offset with 255 35 18 Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 255 35 R18 103Y, 6mm tread. Rears 9 1/2" J 30mm offset with 275 35 18 Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 275 35 R18 103Y, 2.5mm tread. Come with set of Supra spigot rings and 20 stainless steel wheel nuts. One of the fronts has touched a kerb lightly once, yet this minor imperfection has almost polished out and can't even be seen on the pic. None of the tyres have been repaired, they are well balanced and the same circumference as stock wheels/tyres. Included in sale, a pair of 275 Bridgestones. These are only available from the U.S. so not many Supra's over here with these on, yet I think they are one of the best suiting wheels and will be sad to see them go. Reason for sale; I am changing to taller tyres for the supercharger installation and also wanted wheels that I didn't need to keep polishing. I have looked after these well as can be seen in the pics galore below, yet I am more focussed on building my Supra supercharger conversion than polishing wheels, so the time has come for someone else to keep them gleaming. £500 or best offer, buyer collects please.

    Pulsar

Other than a heat issue, I need a bonnet that will fit over the charger and cooler. Trying to come up with a design that looks well too. At the mo, a Land Rover bonnet bulge with a Cooper S scoop is looking favourite.
  13. I much prefer the Cooper S scoop, which would look similar to the one in your pic. I like it, that is the sort of thing I am looking to make, but with a wider bulge. Thanks for that, where did you find that pic, interested to learn more about it?
  14. I can feel another hybrid coming along! Looking at fitting the Land Rover bulge backwards onto the Supra bonnet then using a scoop from either a Cooper S or Pulsar on the front of it?

    Pulsar

A 'Dicky Bird' has told me that dude once made a Supra bonnet with a Pulsar bulge in it. Is there a pic of this on here somewhere?
  16. I went into the Landrover Main Dealers and asked the salesman, from the brochure he quoted "all aluminium body panels", but on inspection I found that it is made from steel. Now hunting for a dead one with an unwrinkled bulge to play with.
  17. Today the new bypass valve arrived, so I go the Main Dealer at Northamptonjam and see. My reception was a little 'cautious', I was the bloke who had critisized the quality of Jaguar engineering. Nevertheless, it turns out that the new one has the same flaw, they must have been cast from the same incorrect pattern mould. I have been hand tailoring the butterfly in the original valve with some fine wet and dry paper, I gave both valves a blow job and found that I had reduced the leakage in the original to around 25% of the new one. The original valve is the best by far and it's going in. 2 silicone elbows cut to match the odd lengths on cooler and some serious little clamps form a sound and squidjy mounting. I put some waterpump grease on the butterfly it before it went in, it's now 100% efficient until that wears off? I may have found a bulge donor! It's the perfect size, unfortunately it's steel not aluminium, but doable. Fitted the Lexus wheels.
  18. Without the rear seats there is room for a lot more, and without the passenger seat there is space for 2 gearboxes too. My pal calls it my Supra van and he reckons I should take off the tailgate and call it a Supra pick-up.
  19. Shane has resurfaced, a dad again with baby girl named Zara, maybe a supercharged influence? He has decided that he will be too busy being a born again dad to play gearboxes, so the upgrade kit is back up for grabs.
  20. Without the space saver, you can get one in there.
  21. Someone recently asked on here if you could get 4 Supra wheels and a passenger into a Supra but I can't find the thread. Today I picked up a set of Lexus 18" sport rims with 275 and 245 40's, and a pair of 18 275 40 tyres. 245 wheels stood upright behind front seats, a 275 in the space saver divot and the other just in front of it. The 2 tyres went one in front of the other on the passenger seat, Suporigami. (Don't worry, I covered up Jamies nice seats. ) Mirror rear view was good, however, the near side mirror and both near side windows, were behind a wall of black rubber, totally blind left and the passenger window had to remain open for the tyres to stick out a bit, it was 'friendly'. To make sure no vehicle could get into this massive blind spot, I drove back from Essex in the slow lane. Whilst being burnt off by every lorry except the one I was following, I worked out how I could have fitted in all 6 and kept all round vision, or 5 and a passenger, or 7 and be back in slow lane.
  22. I thought that was the price?
  23. 6 pints of water and 2 tins of prunes per day, and while away your worries with amphetamines. Simples
