  1. Kettering is central to Corby & Northampton. I propose a meet @ The Piper, Windmill Avenue, Kettering. (Next to Stickweeds Park) They prepare the best traditional Sunday roast I have found and for only circa £7. They also have 7 well kept real ales and plenty of girls beers too. Eating and/or drinking is optional, pay on the day. Simples Turn up around 1pm munch if you want @ 3pm, reservation advised, pick a May Sunday, any would suit me. 15th 22nd 29th
  2. To alter the indicated speed you can use a converter or change the speedo, I have a km speedo you can have if you like. How many miles does yours presently read?
  3. You can have it converted, but I would think there must be someone with a km odo with similar numbers that would be happy to swop for an odo in miles, mine's 127,000 km (87,000 miles).
  4. tone, Not many offers. Shane is busy being a born again dad, Fizzle is fizzle and I'm not yet acquainted with any other local members. I live in Kettering too, so if you fancy a pint with a supersonic fogey, let me know.
  5. Here's a pic of N/A colours, it is likely they are the same as T.T. but not searching through wiring diagrams this time of night.
  6. Just look, you can see them before they disappear into the loom.
  7. You really know how to impress the ladies.
  8. Buying an import is more often than not buying a clocked motor, it is all part of the game. Evidence of good maintenance is more important.
  9. Northants doesn't go a bundle on arranged meets, we simply visit each other. When you do get to a show you won't know who the individual members are, unless they happen to have a face that looks like the gorgeous womans arse in their avatar.
  10. I live on junk food and beer, yet my weight, cholesterol and blood pressure are perfect for someone half my age. Maybe it's the walk to the pub that does it.
  11. Keron is very good at licking stamps.
  12. You and anyone else with an interest are welcome to come and see the progress any time. 'S' day is looming. Have you got that fuel filter in yet?
  13. tone, Unless you're in the in club, that's the way it is. Best to regard Suprapod and Stickweeds Park as local meets and if you expect company, take a friend.
  14. Jockobite is infinitely politer than Porridge Wog. Just keep an eye on the Supra prattle and one will turn up, yet I suggest that you take an Aero and a real one for a trundle before you opt for a wobbly.
  15. I have a non ABS n/s rear hub assembly with good bearing you can have for £20?
  16. Ahoy there you optijockmist.
  17. Except me! Following this thread because I will soon have one of these up for grabs too. I don't think peeps realise just how much time it takes to do a proper job. Mine was polished by hand and took me 3 full days.
  18. Today I thought to plumb in the pre rads and get the active spoiler back in, what a Supragarmi nucking fightmare! The pre rads mounting bracket was in conflict with the active spoiler, both the engine and trans oil coolers were in the way, the horn was in the way, all 8 of the HID capacitors were in the way, the towing brackets were both in the way and the repositioned power steering cooler was in the way too. I have modded the bottom mounting of the active spoiler to make room for the bracket, repositioned the power steering cooler and the horn and removed the towing brackets. The pipework is now complete between pre rads and pump, but need another 90 elbow to finish the other side. There was I thinking it was going to be a simple job for a change.
  19. Loose the top glove box there is plenty of getatable space behind there.
  20. Take a look at a 40 series Land Cruiser, a far better option.
  21. "One life live it", idiot driving innit!
  22. At 70mph they are like sitting on a park bench bolted onto a running road menders compressor whilst being towed behind a bus.
  23. Nobody interested in the prop, this was my favourite upgrade.
