  1. That's the job I'm dreading, it will Crown it, or Frown it. I haven't found a Land Rover bonnet at a sensible enough price to cut up, or any other usable bulge, so now looking to cut the bonnet, prepare and locate fillets then let TIG Stig loose on it.
  2. The final fit is tinkered and no extra bobbin was needed. The 19mm elbows have turned up, so fitted the hoses from the pre rads into the engine bay ready to connect to the charge-cooler, these are coiled up and cable tied to the rad. Another little wind-up job jobbed, even with the towing bracket gone and the power steering pipes 'persuaded' out of the way, it was antipodean gynaecological keyhole surgery and ended up with several lacerations from the ZunSport Grille clips. Watch out for those things they are as sharp as razors. I had my arm inside the panels wriggling the pipes through and when fluid started dripping from underneath I thought I had broke a power steering pipe, then I took my arm out.... Fortunately, the war wound was not in vain. I didn't want to have to do that again. Remaining jobs & stuff supercharger countdown list 10. Find an AEM or GReddy (1/8" NPT) 3 bar MAP sensor. 9. Buy copper spark plugs, 10-50W engine oil, methanol and distilled water. 8. Relocate battery to back. (Odyssey Racing 30 and solar charge panel) 7. Fit and plumb HHO generators and pump in place of battery. 6. Fit and plumb water/meth tank at back. 5. Buy and fit Boost and EGT gauges. 4. Fit a Heckler-made circuit-box and display for Manualised Hybrid gear selection and torque converter lock-up. 3. Sort out all of the electrickery. 2. Bulge the bonnet. 1. Get and fit Adams' T.T. throttle and cruise cables. BLAST ON The Supercharger.
  3. I bet the Hot-rod Drag Race shops have it.
  4. I am sure it turned up in UK when I googled it.
  5. It's the same spec, how much is the Kendal Blue? The Beastie is getting whiter one piece at a time and with those little sticky out ears, it has grown a canine expression.
  6. I have added a third bobbin to the ERL w/m pump mounting and made a little bracket for the first of 2 ECU controlled valves in the system, the 40 amp relay is mounted on one of the tank bobbins and the loom has been gathered up in the corner. All of the wires will end in a heap here then I will sort out all the electrickery together. The w/m tank is to go in the back, this one is both reservoir and flame trap for the HHO system, it will be rattling with bubbles so I have isolated the mountings on 3 bobbins. It took me all day to do this little job and it still requires a final fitting and maybe a fourth bobbin on the tank. I am growing weary of making brackets, relocating and modifying anything and everything, to make components fit and work together. That shiny 6 fingered fist sitting in the workshop will bolt on in a couple of hours, that's the job I would sooner be doing.
  7. Here's a link to a page full of same spec products, you have learned the gold plated prices sometimes asked, look around. http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=Multipurpose%2CExtreme-PressureLithium+ComplexGrease#hl=en&sa=X&ei=plDITZjiJMWY8QOvodn2Bw&ved=0CCAQBSgA&q=Multipurpose,Extreme-Pressure+Lithium+Complex+Grease&spell=1&fp=a19d57c9b1bb4a83&biw=1280&bih=685 Morris Lubricants, 400g cartridge £3.95 inc P&P beat that.
  8. It might be worth checking out the spec and cross referencing it to other brands?
  9. It doesn't look terminally ill, I'm sure you can nurse it back to full health. I don't know about the blue grease, maybe you have to squeeze a couple of these.
  10. I have just re-read your post, there are clips that will twang out when you get brave.
  11. If you are lucky it will be double sided tape, soak with WD40 and be patient, maybe once a day for a week? Then use a plastic window spacing wedge to work the tape apart, it will take ages to remove all the bogeys without damaging the paintwork underneath. If you are unlucky it could be polythene, then you may end up removing them with a coarse sanding disc.

    auto help

Dexron II, check level with engine running and warm, clunk through the gears and check in neutral. No need for a complete flush unless the fluid has been burned, (brown and smelly) just empty sump and top up with 2 litres. If that doesn't sort it, check the setting and function of the TPS.
  13. Maybe it was the pm's saying that the beers were on your tab?
  14. Phew, where are Fizzles' 'open arms' when you need them? I was beginning to think I was destined to dine alone with a bloke that has boobs?
  15. red, Now that I can see it, that one wouldn't work for my need a bulge to clear the supercharger mods. Cheers
  16. The Beastie is biting at your last straw.
  17. :Edited: You're welcome to it for a swop, pm to me your address and I will send it to you. I was waiting for you to report the miles it had recorded?
  18. Heads-up for a Northants mini-meet. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?245436-anyone-fancy-meeting-up-around-northants
  19. O.K. The Piper 29th May it is. There are plenty of 'safe' places to park a Supra in and around the pub grounds. Turn up from 1pm, munch if you want @ around 3pm, no need to wear a badge with your avatar, the staff will know where we are. Sunday lunch menu is traditional only and is the best pub roast I have found. Generously carved portions of beef and turkey or gammon, served with both new potatoes and roasties, broccoli, Savoy cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, swede, Yorkshire pudding, gravy and special recipe stuffing. Only £7.25 on the day and you will be pogged if you can manage it. I will need to give them a clue a week before thereabouts, as to how many, thereabout. If you may be dropping in for a liquid lunch, or even just a smoke in the garden, post it up, it helps the 'I will if you will's'. Everyone is welcomed and eating is an optional extra, I just need to know how many would like a fab trad, just add your name to the munch list, then copy and paste forwards. See you there. 20. There is no physical difference between a RHD & LHD mph or kph speedo mechanism, they fit and plug in the same, yet there is a slight difference with the fit of the face mounting plate and OE faces. This can be overcome with a little pruning of the edge of the face with a pair of sharp scissors. My RHD J spec Supra has a LHD U.S. mph mechanism, a J spec RHD mounting plate with a U.S. LHD mph/km face which I preferred. Should the O.P. not want it, you can have it for the cost of posting.
  21. Changing the speedo face won't help, it is the speedo mechanism that I refer too. I have a RHD km speedo mechanism you can have if it helps?
