  1. Thanks for the input. The full current spec of the cooling system is; ASI 50mm core rad, 1.1bar cap, Meziere electric water pump, TRD stat, thermostatically controlled twin electric fans, Demisterman matrix and water-wetter. I am not planning to run the coolant at a higher temp, just don't want it boiling up if it gets temporarilly toastie.
  2. Jagman has posted that the supercharger will create a lot more heat, so trying to stay ahead of the game. Already have the TRD (Toyota summer stat) fitted.
  3. I have a new ASI aluminium radiator, Demisterman heater matrix and mostly new silicone hoses and clips. Presently the rad cap is an ASI 1.1 bar and I plan to upgrade this before fitting the supercharger. Stant Racing radiator caps are available to fit the smaller Japanese neck rads in 1.3 bar or 1.5bar. Will these components be 'happy' running @ 1.5bar?
  4. I am always up for a pint and Piper trad dinner. It was nice to put faces on handles and to meet some of the Supracyberspacers in person. Tone had spotted my Supra only once before, and today was the first time I had seen his, yet we live in the same one-horse town.
  5. The Northants maxi eat mini meet proved to be an entertaining and fruitful get-together in a Supranerd fashion and the fab trad was excellent as always. Absent local members ears must have been burning, because all were mentioned in positive remarks, even Evin. I snatched a few snaps of folks leaving, to connect handles to names and cars to owners. Tone, Jspec N/A 5MT. Had his wish, met a few local members and picked up on offers of Suprahelp. Even after his slap up pizza breakfast, he still managed his fab trad and admitted that it was better than a burger. Shane, partner and new nipper in Jspec BPU 4AT. Guigsy (Adam) with U.K. spec BPU 4AT. Me with the Hybrid. Shane's eldest son and Scoobydoo Impress her enthusiast came for a liquid lunch too, but had gone before the camera came out. Guigsys' Supra was mentioned by the locals to make the best noise, not sure if that meant he had won a pint. Fizzle however, maybe had a smoke in the wrong garden, because he ended up in Bristol and Shanes 'long over due present' remains a fystery?
  6. Idle (Air) Control Valve Potato's, tomato's etc.
  7. Go easy on the breakfast to leave room for a maxi eat at the mini meet.
  8. The stick is male and the knob is female, so it is doable if you want it.

    Red coolant

H2o and Halfrauds antifreeze in mine.
  10. Careful, you're giving away your 'Top Secret' location.
  11. The faulty bulb warning light ECU is changed and not only has this fixed it's warning light on the dash, it has magically mended the battery warning light too. The boot foam has been sculpted around it's new friends and the carpet without a hole in it, has now got one in another place. Now I have somewhere convenient to hang an air freshener. It's beginning to look less like a Supra pick-up for tomorrows Northants maxi eat mini meet.
  12. It would be simpler for you to look at an engine wiring diagram and then you might remember if you have been tinkering near anywhere that could have caused this, or to move on and focus your search elsewhere.
  13. Maybe pipped at the post, but if that top glove box lid is still available I will have it for my Mk II 6 gauge pod.

    Red coolant

    Wow! That is heavy water.
  15. If it does, you now have another dozen or so to bid against.
  16. There's a ring earth from/to the ECU to several of the engine management sensors that can cause this 'error' if damaged?

    Red coolant

Not much of a sales person. If he had said 'better' instead of 'expensive', maybe he could have parted you with a little more of your wonder wallet filler?
  18. Maybe your moustache enjoys a good nose bleed.
  19. Stop slacking and shorten the studs and paint the rusting core plugs.

    Polish Sir?

Virgins are getting fussy these days.

    Polish Sir?

    Maybe that one did?
  22. Remember to 'nip up' the rocker cover bolts whilst you can get at them.

    Polish Sir?

At £24,000 a pot, maybe this one does. http://www.gizmag.com/worlds-most-expensive-car-wax/16320/

    Polish Sir?

At that price it should include 24 naked nubile virgins to regularly rub it until you say stop!
