  1. It can be done whilst in as long you helped a bit, but with now 7 collapsed discs in my spine, I'm not volunteering to grovel around under anybody's Supra's until Summertime weather returns.
  2. Of course it would, that's why I now include this upgrade to all Hybrids from no. 5 onward. It's not a secret, all of this information and an awful lot more is provided in the Hybrid Transmission Group, of which you are a member.
  3. Your Supra has Hybrid transmission no. 3, which was built before I began also shimming the accumulators. Hybrids that are also shimmed are from no. 5 onward, retrofitted to no. 1. Hybrids without the P to D bump are from no. 13 onward, with the bump curing GE C-0 accumulator conversion retrofitted to no's 1, 7 & 9. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?discussionid=91&do=discuss I don't get much feedback, but I do keep records of the Hybrids as best I can.
  4. The Hybrid transmission you have in your Supra doesn't have shimmed accumulators. Before you go fitting a bigger turbo, the accumulators will need shimming or the box won't stand a chance. The P to D bump could be sorted at the same time.
  5. Aristo box here for £100 and maybe a Supra N/A box too? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192674056994?ul_noapp=true
  6. For ease of reference, I have added the pin-out pic to the VVT-i information page in the Transmission Group. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?discussionid=250&do=discuss One fine day after you have coughed up your subs, you will be able to access this remarkably useful Club resource.
  7. You'll need a VVT-i wiring diagram for that which I don't have, but you are making a bigger job of it than it is. It has 12 wires because it needs 12 wires and they are all colour coded, simply join up the dots.
  8. Assuming this 'fault' is self inflicted and not a failing old OE ECU, there are 12 wires between the transmission and ECU, you will find your Gremlin amongst them somewhere? Check all these connections are sound, especially the two speed sensors, instead of being split between the 2 ECU's one of these may have been routed to the Link only?
  9. Dicklickshere strikes again. https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/OAVD Oculo Auriculo Vertebral Disorder https://europepmc.org/abstract/med/11314495
  10. Use Manu mode next time and change gears with the stick.
  11. The Demisterman version is total pants, it does not keep your feet warm or even demist the screen. It just stops the leak.
  12. I would first suspect a dicky charcoal filter deletion?
  13. The only way in my repertoire of electrickery, would be to fit it and then turn it off because it's useless?
  14. If that's what Keron say's, then that's the way it is.
  15. My first suspicion would be the ECU? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?348640-TT-Auto-not-shifting-in-4-no-manu-light Try swapping in an ECU from an auto Supra with working MANU mode.
  16. For the benefit of blind old wives.
  17. Which explains both the blisters on the bonnet and why it hasn't faded to pink in the Sarf African sunshine.
