During ten years and fifteen Hybrid transmissions so far, only two have failed and both because of incorrect installation.
To help prevent this from happening again, here is what was done wrong.
First Hybrid Failure:
Broken dipstick, incorrect wiring of solenoids and line-feed pressure-cabled not connected .
Resulting with; ATF 1 litre low, engaging OD instead of 1st gear and permanently running @ lowest oil pressure!
Akin to driving a manual box stuck in 4th gear with the clutch pedal permanently held half-way down.
By revving the balls off it, this box was then destroyed before it even got out of the workshop!
