  1. That might have been Delboy52 Mike? He came to visit me in his on sunny Saturday to help with some more of the digging.
  2. Deja vu? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?353908-NA-odd-behaviour-Ignition-related&p=4298183&viewfull=1#post4298183
  3. I have built Sam Weller a Hybrid incorporating a 2-washer shim in the C-0 accumulator. After it is fitted he will be bringing me back some donor transmission components that I loaned to him, then we can have another Bump-Off.

    Diff values

To i.d. the ratio, turn the prop flange and count how many revolutions it takes to turn a driveshaft flange one revolution. To i.d. whether open or Torsen, take off back-plate and reveal what's inside.

    Cruise

Maybe a universal aftermarket unit would do the trick? http://www.rostra.com/universal-aftermarket-cruise-control-by-rostra.php

    Cruise

I retrofitted cruise control to my non VVTi auto. This is not a job for the feint hearted, further to the control motor, cable and control stalk, it also requires a 4-pin brake light switch and an extensive number of additional wires. For these I found it easier to remove the dash and change the bulkhead loom for one that already had the cruise wiring.
  7. WOW, it has an even uglier arse than a Zupr4!
  8. Are there any fault codes? If your gear changes are getting confused and there is no speed sensor or TPS problem, it all it might be worth trying an ECU swap with a known good-un?
  9. "Defo a 'dude'", I thought you said they were "guys"? Now there's mirrors as well as smoke!
  10. These days it's getting harder to tell, unless you see which colour the tyre's smoked?
  11. Treat the Old Girl to a new one.
  12. Did you muster the enthusiasm to undo one 10mm bolt and discover if you and your passengers lives might be in danger?
  13. P.S. It might be worth trying a known good ECU?
  14. Without an error code you could be in for a Gremlin Hunt. Hopefully, someone has previously suffered & solved this?
  15. Have you checked for any error codes?
  16. This would be my first call too. There's a small plastic cover held on with a 10mm head bolt where the fuel flow & return and a brake line have 90 degree bends. It's not a secret, see "Stickied" thread here............ http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?140112-WARNING-15-year-old-brake-line-rotted-through
  17. Mike and Patrick have had their Bump-Off and found that the addition of a shim to the C-0 accumulator is an improvement. Next will try 2-washers?
  18. With a bit of luck, on Saturday; for the interest of "Science" both Zedhex Patrick & Delboy52 Mike, will bring their cars to mine and we will then have the opportunity to compare these 2 variations and discover if shimming the C-0 is an improvement or not? GE accumulator + GE springs = P to D bump, but less so (Best combo so far - trying to better) (Delboy52) GE accumulator + GE springs + 1 washer shim = ? (Zedhex)
