  1. Volvo C30 D5 2009, with 180bhp and 300ftlb it gets on with the job for an oil burner, 40 mpg around town and 50+ on a run.
  2. For those who want, spotted one on ebay for £50 inc P&P. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-Mk4-IV-JZA80-2JZ-GE-Engine-Control-Unit-ECU-NA-Auto-A-T/202813830648?hash=item2f38a575f8:g:p4AAAOSwIXxdvrZ6
  3. Was there only ever one? Not sent using Crapatalk
  4. First post and first Supra and 1000bhp. That's Faster than Furious?
  5. Is this further evidence that Crapatalk makes your brain shrink, or do only persons with shrunken brains use it? I am overwhelmed by your gratitude.
  6. The units are 1 pin different, but it is not a problem. Future Motorsports are clearly not up to the job, take it to Dan Turner at Advanced Motorsport.
  7. The AEM Series 1 for GTE is compatible for GE, I have one on mine.
  8. And now you thank someone for the wrong answer! Please tell us what you think is wrong with the right answer?
  9. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
  10. If you want your transmissions sorted out for peanuts, please take a wank-break and use this time to encourage your brain to work properly, which includes talking in old money and not driving me round the bend with a never ending stream of semi-literate prisoner message grunts. However, should behaving like a human being be beyond your comprehension, please grease up your bottom and take the transmission elsewhere. Thank you
  11. October is here again! This is the beginning of the annual Club Members transmission silly season. After letting all of the nice warm and dry weather to pass and it is now cold and wet, yet again, a plethora of folks now expect me to grovel around under their Supra's and/or to muck up my kitchen floor for their convenience. I now have 8 collapsed discs, 5 compressed nerves and arthritis in every joint and can't even work on my own car during the winter months. Consequently and blatantly obvious to sane persons, grovelling around under a car in cold wet weather because many Club Members brains don't work properly and/or me then having to scrub oil and transmission fluid off my kitchen floor because folks mostly have to dash off home to feed the cat or attend to a poorly grandmother, is taking the piss!
  12. Have you forgotten how to read, or did you never learn?
  13. How to here........... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?discussionid=190&do=discuss
  14. Fit a rubber "flap" between the bonnet/wing-drip and the headlamp.
  15. I am physically disabled to the extent that I can't stand up for more than a couple of minutes, which is why I need help with digging. Yet that hasn't stopped me from recently driving to both Maidstone and Hull to sort out Club Members automatic transmissions. C'est la vie.
  16. With 18" wheels, an A01B 4.083 Torsen is the one to have for up to 500bhp, the 40 profile tyres give a better ride, better traction and more predictable handling. Win-win-win-win.
  17. N/A diff ratio with 18" wheels and 40 profile tyres, is near as dammit same as TT auto diff ratio with OE wheels and tyres.
  18. It's not so much the distributor, it's the 10:1 compression that restricts boost to 1.3bar max before pre-ignition becomes a problem. For more than 450ish bhpftlb, fitting a GTE headgasket drops the GE compression to 9:1 and which then allows more boost.
  19. Even if no one wants this rare as hens teeth Supra Trinket, that doesn't prevent able bodied folk from doing some digging whilst I make cups of tea and bacon sarni's?
  20. Apparently, all options other than No Deal, would result with the EU taking control of our armed forces! See here........ https://www.ukcolumn.org/article/hero-brexit-lord-james-blackheath-threatened-over-eu-defence-union
  21. SOLD (After 10 months of no interest before letting slip that the digging had been dug, I have been inundated with offers to buy. Consequently, I gave in and sold this for mere money; because Modern Young Men have proven waaay too lazy to do a couple of hours physical work. No doubt all of whomever, would be quite willing to pay to do physical work in a gym! I can only guess that Modern Young Men get off on the smelly armpits and stinking bum-cracks of others, whilst they listen to Gay music, pass on Covid 19 and admire their sad selves in a mirror. ) Autobahn88 exhaust manifold for N/A Supra. (This manifold does not foul the steering mechanism and fits directly onto OE cat or aftermarket decat pipes.) I bought it from another Club member for my project, alternatively however, I have decided that I will have a bespoke manifold made. He had reversed his tailpipe into a kerb and cracked it, yet this was repaired before I bought it. £100 plus P&P @ cost. (Which is the deal I had) Alternatively and my preference, you could come and collect it from NN14 and instead of parting with money, merely help me with some digging before you leave. I have all the tools required, however, digging is now beyond the ability of my crumbling spine.
  22. H14. samuel-weller Supra N/A-T "Drives amazing now and getting to use more the power that the car got now"
