If you are able to remove & refit the transmission yourself, you will be quite capable of doing the easy job of removing & fitting a new seal. WARNING Before using this stuff............... Please Turn Your Brain On! If this is added "neat" to a cold and/or stationary transmission, it stays in a huge snotty-slug which gets pumped into the valve-body and clogs it up. I have now come across two boxes that have suffered this self-inflicted fate. For a full-flush, dilute amongst total volume of ATF before adding. For a partial-flush, dilute 50/50-ish and add with engine running. Nevertheless, if you couldn't find the On Switch for your brain, please don't bring your £u(kwit-ted up box to me!

I have never programmed a box with a Syvecs, but have programmed several with a SupraStick and didn't find it complex at all, but that ECU is no use for the 5 solenoid GTE valve-body.

EDIT: * Retrofitting paddles to an old GTE automatic shift. Very do-able, will require a Syvecs ECU which also has a myriad of engine management functions. Or, for almost as much money you could use one of Burna's gear-change Gizmo's which has no other functions. (Note that GE transmission is very different) * Push button start. Around here, more often than not, the disabled parking places are filled with ignorant and selfish able-bodied persons cars. On two of these occasions I have asked politely if the perpetrator(s) had a Blue parking badge, however, both times resulted with receiving threats of physical violence. One was a plumbers van parked diagonally across both bays and the other, 2-cars with 8 young Bucks sat there eating beefburgers. Sadly, common courtesy and/or good manners almost no longer exist in U.K. Scumtastic!

Thank you for the input(s). A Nextbase 522GW front & rear camera with Nextbase 128GB SD card & a hard wire kit are now bundled up in my watch list whilst I wait to see if any Black Friday deals come along. These are already claimed to be priced 22% below RRP? and/or, I regularly get a 10% off for over £50 purchases promo from ebay. The High Street in my home town is only just wide enough for 2-way traffic and there is permanently a line of parked cars along one side. Yesterday, I was passing through at around 25mph and a woman in a black Mercedes 4x4 swung open her door and stepped out in front of me. Because of oncoming traffic, my only option was to hit the brakes. I managed to stop without making contact, but she ended up sitting on the bonnet, it was sooo close that I had to reverse for her to be able to close the door. Following which, she pretended that it never happened and walked off. I was very tempted to inform her what she was, but knowing my luck she would have turned out to be the wife of a Senior Civil Serpent! Powder coating is the kiss of death for steel. It looks pretty on the outside, however, it cracks and lets water get behind it which is then trapped there and rots it away out of sight. Galvanising is best, if not clean it up with media blasting and use a sacrificial anode galvanic paint.
