  1. The belt is riding forwards because the tension-er arm pivot is todgered.
  2. Measure the diameter of the anti-roll bars.
  3. Say's trendy Mr 19's in 2019. P.S. What do you do if you want traction?
  4. Reality! What self respecting reciprocating idiot gives a £uck about that? Keep up guy's, nineteen's were in last year, twenties are now Officially where it's at, as seen on T.V. Every idiot knows that since 2017, a trendy Supra's wheel size should match the last 2 numbers of the year! Look out 2024?
  5. herbieman, 3 times a day before meals, will sort that for you.
  6. You're welcome. At the next opportunity, I will take some side-by-side pics and post up a page for Dipsticks in the Transmission Group.
  7. Parm, Note that T.T. fluid lines are 18mm longer than those on N/A. (Due to longer bell-housing for the larger torque-converter) With some "tweaking", either can be made to fit, but don't look quite as "pretty" as using the correct lines. Also note that T.T. and N/A transmission dipsticks have marks at different levels, using the wrong one results with incorrect fluid level.
  8. Your choice is; pay the plus £7k to £10k premium price for a Supra with a 25 years old Getrag box that could go tits-up tomorrow and then IF you could find another box or bespoke components, cost another £7k to £10k to sort out, or for a similar price with reliability, buy an auto and fit a new Tremec. Alternatively, stick with the amazingly cheap auto box and be happy with 500ftlb 600bhp. However, should you think that's not enough power for a 'road car', you could ask your Doctor to prescribe Prozac?
  9. You haven't had it long enough to realise that the buttons on the steering wheel dictate that it's not an automatic, but a Tiptronic, which makes it worth a few bob more?
  10. Use leverage to hold the tapered joint together, whilst doing up the nut.
  11. A partial flush on T.T. box is 2 litres and a full-flush is 8 litres.
  12. An oil leak would have done a good job of preventing that.
  13. Maybe you should have included the word "rare" in the sales pitch? This 'upgrade' saves the weight of a heavy electric motor, there's less to go wrong and in fabric, these are the most comfortable of Supra seats for a man-sized bottom.
  14. Toyota are soo bad at planning, they can't even spell it! A80 Supra Head lamps To be announced Planed to start in 2020 Door handle To be announced Planed to start in 2020 Brake booster To be announced Planed to start in 2020 I wonder if it's an onside or an offside door handle?

  16. There is both a T.T. and an N/A box here............ http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?355713-NA-T-questions&p=4309547&viewfull=1#post4309547
  17. There are many different ways to incorporate the stronger TT box for N/A-T and for me to establish which method is best suited for each application, is waaay beyond communication with text or pm grunts and requires talking in old money. Because the end result can only be as good as the used components, I leave the responsibility of acquiring these to the N/A-T-er. Some of the scrap that is brought to me in expectation of achieving the next to impossible for the mostly ungrateful, is quite remarkable.
  18. Am I using invisible ink? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?discussionid=143&do=discuss
  19. We will have to agree to disagree, I certainly won't be wasting any more effort on him.
  20. auzzam, You are a fine example of the ignorance, selfishness & laziness that is/has degrading/degraded the forum. When folks can't even be arsed to say thank you, please tell us why should others even bother to answer your questions?
  21. Preempting a list of wrong questions........... What is a Hybrid transmission? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?discussionid=82&do=discuss How do you get one? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?discussionid=90&do=discuss If I learn of any components, I post them here. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?discussionid=86&do=discuss Please note that the links don't work with Crapatalk.
