6. Hi guys hope that you are all well? Sad news but unfortunately after taking another lower paid job I find myself unable to afford my much loved Supra anymore,As some of you will know i recently completed an Engine Transplant to upgrade it from an N/a to a Twin Turbo. It started off as a pre facelift J spec 95(M) Silver N/a the approx mileage at that point was 120km,Some 3000+pounds later it has finished up as a fully working Twin Turbo,The replacement engine was a 97 with approx 57k mileage on it,It is running fine but may need a few tweaks such as resetting the fuel dial on the dashboard and making the reverse lights work,That said it is a very fresh conversion i have done around 500 miles since the conversion,it has been put through an MOT this month and passed with advisories on the brake pads which would be around 30 pounds,It was serviced as i was doing the conversion however the brakes were not bled during the conversion,It is only taxed until the end of December which is also when my insurance runs out and i fear replacement rear tyres would also be on the horizon..it is not BPU but does have some modifications,It is still running the manual 5 speed gearbox and the brakes have not been uprated.Another thing i should mention is that i have not yet declared the engine conversion but the registration comes up as a TT with my insurers anyway so I am insured for a TT. I am not interested in breaking it as i don't have the storage for the parts that aren't sold. Here is the spec list : -2JZ GTE engine -TOMS ECU -Blitz FMIC -Blitz SUS Filter,Samco hosing and alloy filter pipe -Wolfrace 18" Wheels (Black with Deep chrome dish no kerb marks but some weather wear) -Greddy Boost gauge with fittings and controllers -Greddy Oil temp gauge with fittings and controllers -Grex Oil plate filter -New Stock Clutch plate (5 speed) -New stock Oil filter -Manual Boost controller -Brand new ASI alloy Radiator -Bodykit (not sure which one but the pics i upload will show it) -Bilstein Shocks (so i'm told) -LSD (limited slip differential) It also has a polished Steering fluid reservoir the dials have been changed to a TT cluster and i would be throwing in random parts such as a stock 6 speed clutch and flywheel and other bits from the conversion. After all the work that i put into this project I am reluctant to sell it at all but the price i would be looking for would be around- 5695 Ono. I am open to offers as i would definately prefer to sell it sooner rather than later, you can either pm me or my mobile number is 07725236303 - I work a lot so if i cant answer just leave a message.. Thanks for reading guys here are some pictures: On a side note the wheels in these pics aren't the ones being sold with the car - I will take pictures of these, the engine bay and the interior on Saturday as by the time i get home from work it is too dark. Many thanks guys. James

12. Thanks for all your help Konrad and everyone else who also helped along the way. It's officially alive and running well happy days
13. Sorry to steal your thread Scott just wanted to say that Engine looks amazing *free bump*
14. Yeah and getting it sent out isnt a cheap affair either
15. The thought is getting very tempting i possibly have access to a trailer and winch i would have to see how much it would cost me and save a bit though, - On the plus side i did just manage to get a diagnostic code which is showing as 78 - apparently some sort of problem with either the fuel pump (which is a stock n/a incidentally) or the fuel pump circuit, - Apart from the obvious - buy tt a fuel pump,is there anything else that may be causing this. Im wondering whether in my excitement to get the car out i have managed to fry a fuel connection wire around the gearbox as it did get rather hot down there and i didnt put the wiring in silicone hoses, I also dont think that there is any power to the pump as i cant hear the humming noise of it priming even when i bridge +B and FP in the diagnostic port which makes me think its more a connection than the pump itself. Has anyone ever encountered error code 78? if so what did they try? I have ran a search and looked through the 14pages but couldnt see anyone having had this problem Many thanks guys
16. Ok Chris after further inspection and removing 2hoses temporarily I can see that there are no earths on that housing under the intake manifold (providing I'm looking in the correct place?approx 3" below and 2" to the right of diagnostics port) which leaves me a problem, where have these earths gone and where else are they supposed to attach?
17. How do I go about checking the fuel filter is operating properly ?
18. It seems like either a fuel or ignition problem but it's probably something as simple as a faulty/loose connection next time I think of doing something like this I think I'll leave it to the experts just wondering if there was anyone in the cheshire area who may be able to look it over for me?
19. They look fine to me Chris I'll double check after work as it was raining but I don't think that's going to be the problem-shame I can't just drive it to shropshire, back to the drawing board
20. I have been unable to locate these earth wires under the intake manifold is there a reference near to where they bolt on Chris? Trying to find it on my driveway is proving more difficult than anticipated i should have left it at the garage. It is strange though on sunday it started every time and now i cannot get any diagnostic codes for it and it wont start it all now - as soon as it ignites it cuts out
21. Yeah the engine is in adlington (Cheshire) which I'm guessing is too far?
22. Thanks guys been working late today so I'll try that tomorrow when I finish, hopefully this is going to be something as simple as an earth or faulty connection
23. It's got 110km on it was running perfectly when I swapped it out as for the crank angle sensor well it's from a 95/96 M reg so I'm fairly sure it has but I'll be at the garage at some point soon to double check, Wanted £120 for it if it was collected
24. Grrr in addition to this i got home today and tried to take a reading from the diagnostics and now for some reason i cannot get one also i checked the wires to see if any had been incinerated but there is no evidence of this the coilpacks all seem fine,I started it up after all these checks and it idled for about 30 secs before it just cut out,now it wont start-it ignites but cuts out instantly, this made me question the fuel level as i had an auto tt rev cluster fitted to an n/a so i thought perhaps the fuel gauge was incorrect (if thats possible) i dropped a nut on some string into the tank and there was some fuel in it (the fuel went to 1.5" above the nut) So now i have it a brick wall ive gone from a great runner to a non runner in about 2hours worth of driving .. Any ideas? Many thanks James
