    Vic check

Uhm hey guys. I was just looking for a Supra on Pistonheads an came across A supra with a Vic check. Now I went on google looking for an explenation for a vic check but got totaly confused. As i'm from belgium and we dont have anything that sounds like a vic check i'm asking you this silly question...what the *** is a Vic check and what consequences does it have:rolleyes:? Thx in advance
  4. The answer is probably somewhere out here on the forum but cant directly find...I'm buying a Supra this weekend odo and speedometer showing in miles. As i'm from Belgium i need them converted to km. The car is showing about 100.000 miles now if i convert it will it show 100.000km or 160.000km:rolleyes:? With the speedo I see no problem but how much would these 2 cost me to convert? I have no technical experience so doing it by myself is just looking for trouble. I know there are tutorials i've seen them but i'm not up for it. So ok...prices? and who can do it for me? Anyone who has time and is bored this weekend let me know Thx in advance
  5. Did you have any luck selling it? If not i'm interested.
  6. I mean the original silver colour, uhm...how else can I explain this not gunmetal but like Raven's Supra. Sorry I'm from Belgium(yes one of those from over the sea...I know, but as much an enthousiast as you guys ) so if you dont understand me thats probably the cause. Why Silver? I had an accident last weekend with my Supra:(,wich i bought from a clubmember in august last year...and i really want to fiks it but parts are not easy to get here. And instead of driving all over your country looking for parts i tought better buy an older Supra and use those parts to repair mine, as mine is allready imported, papers ready wich took me long enough. And mine is also silver offcourse thats what i actually wanted to say in the first place, so i dont need to spend 2000£ on a respray. Now do you guys think its going to show that the parts come from another Supra? As i see it they have the same colourkey so it shouldnt? Please correct me if I'm wrong before I buy something i might regret. Thx a lot
  7. I'm looking for a N/a Supra doesnt matter if its auto or manual, the mileage isnt that important offcourse the lower the better. But it has to be the original grey silver colour from Toyota itself. My budget...between 2000 - 2800 pounds. I know it isnt much but im not looking for a perfect car neither. Anyone who is looking to sell his Supra let me know. Thx Seba
  8. are the sideskirts still for sale? How much for them alone? Groeten uit België
  9. Had an accident last weekend,....Insurance isnt covering anything since it was my mistake.I'm from Belgium but picking up the parts wont be any problem as the ferry crosses many times a day =) I dont know the exact names for some parts so correct my mistakes please. Looking for some bodyparts to keep the costs low:rolleyes: Looking for a front bumper, bonnet, the left front wing(I mean the part that goes over the left front wheel) and eventually the left sideskirt(offcourse i would be willing to buy both of them since selling only one sounds silly). None of them need to be OEM anything is welcome. My Supra is in the original silver colour but any colour is ok. Dont worry about transport as i can be there in no time but the closer to belgium the better. I hope someone can lend this Belgian Supra lover a hand as parts are allmost impossible to find here Thx Seba

    Stoplight(s)?

Ok thx for the info much appreciated!!
  11. Hello just a quick question maybe the answer is somewhere in hre but after half an hour searching i'm giving up. As i have an apointment at the MOT backhere in Belgium on monday i was wondering if it is normal that my Supra has 4 stoplights (+the one in the midle ofcourse). As averything has to be original to get it imported here i wanted to know ifthis is as it has to be or have they plugged in 2 extra stoplights afterwards? The 2 red lghts in the back go on wen i have my headlghts on as do thy shine brighter when i push the stoppingpedal. Normally only 3 stoppinglights are allowed here but if this is original it sholdn't be a problem. Might be a silly question to you guys =) and sorry for the spellingmistakes it's a very old keyboad =) Grtz Seba
  12. Uhm Castrol is an ok brand i guess?
  13. Ok that was pretty fast thx a lot
  14. Hi everyone im new to this site since i got my first Supra mk4 last week after 4 years of dreaming.(offcourse i'm overexcited now that i have it) But my question is what engine oil do i best use since every garage tells me something else?! Probably there is some thread covering this topic but can't find anything... Its a N/A from '95 with allmost 90.000km on it(must be about 55.000miles) Jap spec. Toyota garage told me to just use 15w40 ,another garage specialised in Supra and skyline tuning told me not to listen to Toyota and definitely use 10w60 and the other one says 10w40..... So, i really dont know. The car is standard no tuning on engine at all. I'm pretty sure you guys can help me out Thx
