  1. Excellent - paypal sent - Cheers fella
  2. Excellent, are they damaged at all? especially the drivers side? Ill take them if theyre not cracked etc Sending you a PM
  3. Might be a really daft question but are the side trims the bit under the door on the outside.. The bit under the door running between the arches on mine has been cracked since I bought it, but never knew which part it is exactly to get hold of replacements.
  4. Aye it was, I slowed down on my bike to check out the wheels black ones really suit red well. Have you ever been to the ketch on Thursdays, quite a few jap cars go there and its a friendly bunch.
  5. Pretty sure it was metallikev - I was on my pushbike wondering why on earth I didnt take the supe to work Seems to have got quieter than last time I saw it, but then again you werent going very far in the traffic Looking really nice!
  6. Sounds interesting.. my insurance is due for renewal soon and im getting stupid quotes back that make baby jesus cry. Would be interested to hear any downsides that this policy has
  7. Ideally I would like the ones that are not on the outside due to the alloys, however they are curbed a fair bit (came that way) and there is a small dent in the rear one which I suspect has never been balanced. Would simply buying a new set of alloys fix the issue?
  8. Slight thread ressurection - Going to be getting my wheels balanced next week, I have the choice of kwik fit or Hi-Q. £5.50 / £6.00 per wheel respectively. Do the weights go on the outside or can they be put somewhere more discreet so they dont look out of place?
  9. *mini hijack* How does one tell if they have ABS on their NA? I didnt know if I had a LSD or not until one of the lads round here had a look at the chassis number plate and pointed out the letter indicating LSD, but as far as ABS goes.. would it be as simple as having the light on the dash during startup? (mine is a 94 SZ according to the chart - which means ABS was optional.. hoping that the fact it has LSD means it also got the ABS)
  10. Possibly Got a quote for all 4 wheels balanced at £24 too.
  11. The one near me is charging £45 (HiQ) is there a secret word to be saying lol
  12. makes you wish you could cut their hand off for doing it.. theyd only ever do it twice.. hope you get it fixed.
  13. Handy - had not even considered them.
  14. Oh right - must be another silver out that way, looked like yours.
  15. 8.30 to 5.00 contracted, reality due to staff cuts and workload increases (without additional pay) is 8.30 to anywhere between 5.00 and 7.30 - with the extra hours not being paid for! However no matter how much extra free of charge time youve given them if you turn up 10 minutes late you are made to make the time up on that day. Flexibility would be nice.. but then in a large company a few take the pi%% and ruin it for the majority. Oh and we now owe them hours for bank holidays too.
  16. Really like the interior panels on that.. was that done by a company?
  17. Did he have strange rear lights that dont look standard? Saw you going past the Ketch last Thurs btw Si
  18. Anyone on here..? Really distinctive rear lights, at first I thought it was an FTO.. until I passed and got a better look at the skirts and bumper..
  19. I think its the rollos mix of "My Favourite Game" on the GT2, should be on floorfillers anthems disc 2, 2007.
  20. Sorted guys - thanks for the help! I shall get it down to have the wheels balanced asap. It should be something Kwik Fit could do I hope, but ill have a look in the yellow pages to find some alternatives. Thanks guys
  21. I dont feel anything strange when breaking so thankfully that sort of rules that out. Wheel weights? I dont think I have any of those on any of the wheels. It had damage to the alloys when I bought it.. some wheels have more curbing than the others. Tyre pressure was recently checked and adjusted to 32 all round, I also checked the wheel nuts and they all seem fine - some of them have gone rusty on the outside unfortunately but its nothing major and I aim to get this part sorted soon. I dont know if it dissapears after 70, I have been keeping it below 75 to stay on the safe side. We had a fair few potholes but I was actively avoiding bad roads - but the speedbumps here (Cussion types) are not too great - I usually line up and go over those so each wheel is at either side of it but some of them are a bit steep. Could this be doing much?
  22. Hey guys, Car in question - 94 jspec n/a. I have read a couple of posts about this, but they seem to mention wobble at speeds exceeding 90+. I was doing betwen 60 and 75 and noticed vibrations through the steering, to the point where I am conciously holding the wheel a bit tighter. Is this normal? I know it could be a number of things - tracking, alignment, balance etc but not sure which one to tackle first. Would it be a case of trial and error? Dont want to be going through the inconvenience of having something done that isnt required. I am going to try and get hold of a jack to check the wheels for horizontal play - if I find this, that would be wheel bearings? I read some posts that mentioned taking it to dedicated wheel people, and not just a general garage..anything particular to look for? Anyone had experience of these guys? http://www.bushtyres.co.uk/store-locator/ Cheers
  23. Mine cae via Royal Mail Special Delivery if that helps - was in a tube..
  24. Cheers guys hopefully I will get some good results !
