    LSD info?

Morning all, can anyone tell me if a 1994 n/a auto was fitted with an LSD? ?
  2. Pump is pumping the correct way as it spurts out when 17mm headed banjo bolt is cracked open on top of pump hanger
  3. Trouble with that is I can't blow into one end and be up the other end at the same time lol Anyhow I know what goes where cos pumping fuel into the fuel supply pipe at the rear of car makes it come out of the fuel return pipe at the front of the car, thus my assumption that the two are somehow connected lol
  4. The problem i have is its pumping out of the return at the engine and the supplies to the rail are bone dry? been underneath and found "some" fuel pipes running from tank (hard to tell whats what though) then they disappear above the rear subframe, then a 25mm steel braided hose appears and runs to the front of vehicle that splits into two and both these connect to front and rear of fuel rail, it all looks normal apart from there is no fuel in these pipes? i thought maybe a blockage but why would that cause it to pump out of the return pipe in engine bay? there not linked! Also not keen in dropping the rear subframe and/or fuel tank just to see what going on above as it may show nothing and be a waste of my time and that the customer isnt happy to pay for? but it looks like maybe the only option?
  5. Im not that stupid! and i have cracked the banjo bolt on the fuel feed hose on the pump hanger at top of the tank with pump running and it squirts out everywhere from the flow so it IS pumping down the flow from the tank its just not getting to the engine bay in the same pipe???????
  6. But how it is now it will never run which is where the confusion lies! It's all very very odd? No idea? Customer called them and although I spoke to them I didn't ask the name of there company, all they said was clean the spark plugs which wont help with a dry fuel rail!
  7. I have actually removed the pipe from the fuel rail to the regulator and there is nothing there when pump is running, infact its bone dry but if i remove the pipe from the regulator back to the tank fuel pumps out at pressure when pump spins up. Im wondering if someone has fitted some kind of bypass valve somewhere between the tank/pump and the engine bay??? it can be the only reason for it but if they have i cant find it? And i cant see how a collapsed filter would cause fuel to pump round the system the wrong way?
  8. Well yes that's what I was expecting but I have fuel feed into the bottom of the fuel pressure regulator, the hoses feeding the rail are dead????? The question is how was it running before if what the owner says is true?
  9. Someone in Japan so the importers told me.
  10. Bit of a strange one this but here goes, looked at a non running Supra turbo the other day with big single conversion that wont start, apparently it was fine then cut out when lights turned on, owner turned lights off and it started ok then one day all of a sudden it would no longer start at all so i was called to have a look, it cranks over in pulses for say 2 second then half second gap while keeping the key in the start position, also the fuel pump ran for maybe 8 seconds when IGN only turned on so im assuming after market ECU? Jumped diagnostic box to get fuel pump on constantly and it had no fuel leaving the fuel rail to the pressure regulator but the pump could be heard and was very loud, went back today with new AEM 320ltph pump and fitted that and i noticed the old pump made virtually no pressure, so that's all good BUT now i still have no fuel entering or leaving the fuel rail BUT i do have fuel going to the pressure regulator from the return pipe??? its like the fuel feed and return pipes have been swapped over somewhere but i cant see any evidence of this anywhere. Also the owner said it was running fine then just stopped and no one else has been near it? im wondering how on earth this is possible? This is the car in question, don't spose anyone recognises it? And this is the current fuel supply pipe feeding the regulator The fuel rail is fed from both ends and return comes from near centre of the rail to the regulator then to tank BUT this is being fed from the return pipe! god knows how it was running at all?
  11. Well my mkiv ownership was brief, infact only 10 days I got an offer i couldn't refuse which was a straight swap for this V8 soarer with body kit and a fabulous fabulous sounding custom exhaust, and as i been after a V8 for a while it seemed a no brainer so the mkiv has gone to live in Peterborough! do i need to keep an eye out over my shoulder at this years Jae? lol

    Triumph

I dont but my mate does, its undergone a nut and bolt rebuild over 8 years and has come out pretty nice i would say Tiny when next to a mkii Supra lol
  13. Same here now with little bits of blue showing but it's so windy it's changing fast.
  14. I'm in Rainham just off the A13 heading into London and the weather here is presently pretty good, windy but sunny. Thought I mention that as you will be passing through lol
  15. With the current weather you prolly end up doing this on the way to Jae lol
  16. I been a twat, had the handbrake on all day and/or door open and as there is separate light for handbrake and door I didn't think it was them, lol
  17. I have the big ! In the Red Square illuminated on my dash but after checking for codes I have none, what would be the next place to look into? Also being an import it has retro fitted fog lamp but no switch so il be after one from a UK car to slot into my dash, as I did with my mkiii lol
  18. Also has TEMS and a digi dash too
  19. There is a little damage to the paint there but that will be attended to along with a little bit of rust on the tail gate, needs tyres and a few bulbs too but nothing to demanding, also there is a big ! in a red square on the dash is illuminated too so that needs looking into as well and the speedo jumps about reading a much faster speed than is actually going on, i suspect a defective speed converter? Only got 2 MOTs with it, the one issued in 2005 shows 80648 KMs and in 2006 shows 86157 KMs and i know for a fact it hasn't been driven for the last 6 years as it was owned by a friends next door neighbour so i see it often and the fact the tax expired july 2007 means im happy to think that it is genuine. And yes you do spy a mkiii, thats my very very VERY special friend, he is called Mr Fabulous and he is a 1989 3.0i turbo GT limited, here it is at Ace Cafe Incarnation show at Brighton earlier this year, also if any of you guys go to Jae you would have seen it parked on the mkiiisupra.net stand that's usually next to yours, lol Also have a ST185 GT4 needing a turbo rebuild, or a CT20B if i can get one.....
  20. Its been such a long time since i registered i thought may as well introduce myself again, im Mark from Rainham in Essex and i been a member on here since 2009 but only just today (or yesterday) became the owner of a MK4 Supra, a 1995 JDM n/a auto with less than 60k miles on the clock and apparently a very rare paint colour, 1A1, or Anthracite metallic, so i been told? Anyhows here's some pics
  21. The boiler heats up the central heating water which in turn heats up the domestic heat exchanger, this is the part your domestic water flows through to be heated up so if the system is drained you will not get hot tap water. you need to turn off the rad valves then fill and vent the boiler/system to 1 bar, there should be a filling loop on it some where and a pressure gauge for this purpose.
  22. Or it may be know as a HKS aig! has anyone got the wiring diagram for it? tis only 5 wires but god only knows where they go!
  23. Girlfriends mum is a nasty c*** AND keep well out of ....
