  1. I priced it to sell.....couldnt stand to see it sat on my driveway when i cant afford to keep it on the road...but thanks for the nice comments
  2. CAR NOW SOLD !!! Due to a recent small addition to my family I find myself having to sell my Supra since it is not very practical for carrying pushchairs etc. It is a black aerotop and the odometer currently shows 122000 (mixture of kilometers and miles). Imported in 1999 it has had 4 former keepers since then and I have it owned it since November 2008. MOT is due on May 8th and tax is valid until end of May. Last service, inc timingbelt change was carried out in April 2010. Brand new glass headlights fitted to replace the plastics units in July 2009 and several new dash panels, bought from Whifbitz, fitted in April 2010.(over 400 pounds spent) I only use the car at weekends so it has covered less than 10,000 miles in last 2 years. Oil and filters have been changed and least once a year by myself and this car has never let me down. It starts first time, every time and runs great. Gemini alarm and immobiliser fitted by previous owner. DVD/CD player fitted. Bodywork has a few scratches which is to be expected on a vehicle of this age, most notable on the bonnet and the aerotop roof. Prior to me owning the vehicle there is no proof of any service history but please do not be put off by this as the car has been exceptionally reliable for me. I am looking for £2,000 ovno. Contact me by PM if interested or by email jbaron [email protected] to arrange a viewing. Note: I am happy to allow any test drives only if you bring proof of valid insurance to cover my car. I have tried to take photos to show the scratches on the paintwork but they dont show up very well on my digital camera.
  3. My NA is due its MOT next weekend so this morning I thought I would check all the bulbs etc were working. My reverse light was converted to a rear fog by a previous owner and when I switched it on it wasnt working, so I assumed the bulb had blown. Removed the light and found not only that the bulb was blown but it had been painted red and the paint had dried all over the bulb holder as well. In the process of removing the bulb the actual holder got bent and now I can`t get another bulb in, and also the wire has come away from the back of the holder. So I need a reversing light bulb holder, preferably with a few inches of the two wires attached so I can fit it before before next weekend. Can anyone help????
  4. Thanks Martini, I live in Middleton, between Oldham and Rochdale. Where abouts in Manc are you? I usually only use the supra at weekends since I've got a crappy polo for running around in.
  5. After 6 months of ownership and coming on here evry few days for info I have finally decided to join. Just wanna say a quick hi to everyone and tell you a bit about my car. Its a 94 import n/a aerotop, although living in Manchester means the weather doesn't let me take the roof off as often as I like. I'm hoping my supra will be as reliable as my previous toyota, a 96 celica GT which was bulletproof despite the 135,000 miles it had on the clock. Unfortunately the paintwork on my supra isn`t great, the bonnet especially has a lot of scratches and blemishes which hopefully I will get sorted when I get some money. I've only included one photo so far since all my others were taken with an 8MP camera and even zipped they are bigger than the attachment limit. I do have one quick question and apologies if it shouldn't be asked here but on my dash panel above the stereo, where the fan controls are, I noticed only the fan speed dial was lighting up, not the temperature dial. I removed the panel thinking a bulb had blown but there is no bulb or bulb holder in the hole. I can easily get hold of a bulb, but does anyone have any idea where I can find the bulb holder??? Thanks 18012009155.zip
