It was only a standard one that they fitted, he had a lot of trouble with them as he asked for a stage 3 and they said that they had but it was only a standard one that they put in, he told me when I was buying it though so took it to paul whiffin and got me one in there now - - - Updated - - - It was only a standard one that they fitted, he had a lot of trouble with them as he asked for a stage 3 and they said that they had but it was only a standard one that they put in, he told me when I was buying it though so took it to paul whiffin and got me one in there now - - - Updated - - - It was only a standard one that they fitted, he had a lot of trouble with them as he asked for a stage 3 and they said that they had but it was only a standard one that they put in, he told me when I was buying it though so took it to paul whiffin and got me one in there now

Not sure if you know the owner or have seen it around at all? A very nice looking Supra you have there anyway and welcome to the forum
-
Awesome bet you are happy yeah, enjoy

haha ok then for exteriors it has to be this one.... what got me into liking supra's as I was only young at the time

Im not sure if this is allowed under the rules of this thread but I want to post up an interior picture just because the reason why I like this supra so much is because of the interior I have no idea who's supra it is I just saw it for sale ages ago and instantly thought wow, it was resprayed in candy red too

Hi all I have now owned my new Supra for a week so as I have had chance to think about what plans I would like to do to it I thought I would start a thread that I could update on its no big transformation or anything but just a few minor changes but thought this would be a good way of keeping track of it and any input or idea's would be welcome Just so you know the details of the car to start here is everything about it: Started out life as a NA silver manual Supra but has had an engine replacement from a 1998 VVT-i Twin Turbo Supra and a full respray, still currently has W58 5 speed gearbox off the NA. Performance upgrades: Greddy Boost Controller running 1.2 bar on high Decat Front Mount Intercooler BOV UK Callipers Discs and Pads RSR Exhaust HKS Fuel Cut Defender Walbro Fuel Pump NGK BKR7EIX Plugs Exterior Styling: Glass Headlights Front Clear Indicators Carbon TRD Bonnet TRD Front Wings Do Luck Front Bumper Gen Trail Rear Bumper Veilside SideSkirts TRD Half Carbon Rear Spoiler Likwidart Badges 19 inch Jade R Alloy Wheels Interior Styling: Dash Sprayed Fiat Blue Black Roof Liner and Sun Visors Black Carpet Recaro Bucket Seats Pillar Mounted Gauges Boost Gauge Momo Steering Wheel CD/DVD Head Unit Engine Bay Dressup: Polished Fan Surround Fiat Blue Engine Cover Carbon Fibre Fuse Box Cover HKS Pipework My Plans for it (Modifications and work that needs doing) for the current to near future are as follows: New Clutch (Stage 3 performance clutch from Whiffbitz) going in next week as the current one is slipping. Replace Single Din Ripspeed fold out CD/DVD player with a Double Din CD/DVD player (came in post yesterday so just need to install it on the weekend). HKS Turbo Timer is in the post somewhere on its way to me at the moment so that will be fitted when it arrives. Install a passenger seat Recaro rail as currently only the driver seat is a Recaro but have Passenger seat waiting to go in when I buy a rail for it. Power Steering pump is making a whining noise when cold so probably need a new on but will try replacing the fluid 1st as someone mentioned on here. Change the Alarm system for a Clifford Remote Start Thatcham cat 1 alarm, I like the fact that you can warm up the car on winter mornings before getting in it aswell as the practicality of the engine and turbos being warm. Get the Recaro's retrimmed in leather with the Supra and Recaro logo's in, seen it on the same style Recaro's as mine before and loved it. Not 100% convinced but will probably get a roof spoiler for the top of the rear window, still debating this at the moment though. My bigger plans for it that im hoping will happen around next summer time are: V160 6 Speed gearbox Hybrid Turbo's I do love the car the way it is so it is only really minor changes that I am doing (apart from the gearbox and turbos) but just a few little tweeks to my taste. Your opinions and idea's are welcome

Nice one what type of supra do you have? Will look forward to the pics welcome to the club
-
Welcome to the club, it is definitely worth paying the membership on here and having access to the classified section, Everyone on here takes great care in there Supra's and looks after them tidy as they are there pride and joy so get some great cars coming up on the classified section. Good luck with the search
-
Looking forward to seeing these results, good luck mate
-
ahh sorry misunderstood, ok tidy thankyou for your help
-
ahh thats brilliant thankyou so the one I have at home off a mkiii turbo should be fine on my TT mkiv then cheers
-
ahh right cheers might be worth a change of fluid 1st then and see if it makes a difference cheers
-
I need to replace the powersteering pump on my supra as it makes a fair noise when the engine is cold before it gets up to temperature, I do have one off a mkiii turbo supra at home and im guessing they are different but just on the off chance it might be the same I thought id ask on here? and if not then how specific are they to tt or na engines as my engine is a vvt-i twin turbo but i have found one on ebay (link below) off a non turbo so just checking this would fit before I purchase it? assuming that my mkiii doesnt fit of corse. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Lexus-Power-Steering-Pump-2zj-ge-3-0-non-turbo-Supra-JZA80-GS300-LS300-/301272064069?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item462536e045

hahaha yeah that is a type of supra iv never heard of before
-
Yep on the list mate I've sorted the front bumper today and pm'd paul whiffin earlier about the clutch so ringing him tomorrow to sort out a date to get a new one on and then will be getting close It's a very good engine thankyou Thanks yeah I loved the colour of it and the kit
-
Thank you very much I'm like a kid at Christmas atm lol Thank you yeah nothing immediate but around next summer kind of time I'm thinking hybrid turbos and a v160 6 speed box nothing crazy power but think the hybrid turbos should give enough really
-
Cheers mate yeah is a very nice car I'm very happy with it
