  1. Hi guys I'm looking to get my arches rolled and wondering if anyone knows and can recommend any places that can do this that are localish to me, I live in hereford so anywhere from South Wales to West Midlands area is ok really. Also I would like to enquire about getting a v160 gearbox refurbished so again wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that can do this too? Thankyou

    Hello

Welcome to the club as mentioned above you'll find a nice one for that, there's a stunning one on here atm for 23k (if it's still available) if your budget would stretch abit further but you will find a decent one for that budget anyway
  6. Nice nice kit and wheels too the colour suits it
  7. Was great to meet you guys had a really good day thanks and thankyou to Pete for organising it, I will see you all again soon
  8. What's peoples plans for times? I see the meal is booked for 12 so is everyone aiming to get there for 12 or is anyone meeting there earlier?
  9. Great looking mkii you got there mate
  10. Ahh right yeah that sounds similar as mine goes through little temporary spells of not working but generally it just bounces, just sourcing a new converter box atm to give that a try as thinking on mine it may be that from the advise on the comments above as it's been doing it all along and my gearbox has been off and back on during that time and no change to it, unless the speed sensor is faulty as appose to being loose though
  11. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?315720-Whifbitz-Xmas-Specials-what-do-you-want This is Paul's Xmas sale thread, post on here what you want
  12. Ahh ok thanks il try both out, thinking about it iv had a new clutch put in so obviously the gearbox was off and it was doing it before that too so I would think maybe it is the converter yeah but il try both, thanks for all your help guys
  13. Ahh right thanks il give the sleep sensor a check, cheers
  14. Thanks for your response, yeah mine is connected as the picture below: all the screws seem to tighten up nicely though so dont think it would be that, one of the wires coming out of the converter box has been bent over quite tightly though and is a little worn so was wondering if that might of been it but still looks to be connected properly

    Newbie

welcome and as above we all like pics
  16. tidy sounds good just heard back and yep me plus a mate are 2 definite's
  17. My speedo needle doesnt work properly. If im going at say 40mph it would be rapidly bouncing from 30-50mph (always at least a 20mph difference) I also have a HKS type 1 turbo timer which displays the speed digitally and this works brilliantly and very accurate so because the turbo timer speed reads correct I thought it must have been a fault on the speedo within the dials cluster so I bought another dials cluster and put that in but im still getting the same problem... just wondering if anyone has come across this before and what possible causes are? Im planning to look into it tomorrow but just wondering where to start looking really. My only thoughts are whether its the converter box that converts it to mph rather than kph as thats loose in the dash just behind the dials or whether its a wiring issue somewhere.
  18. me for definite and probably plus one but will confirm that later do you need to know menu choice now aswell or do we just order on the day?
  19. Just wondering if there's any meets going on over xmas time around wales?
