  1. She'll be sat tucked up nice and safe on my driveway when there's any water around Chris the MR2 can brave those conditions lol
  2. Yeah I think at the sight of any rain it will be staying at home and the MR2 will be out lol
  3. Im going 315 wide R888's on a 12" rim for the rears but thats with the wide arch. Not going to be moving it in the wet lol.
  4. Just read it now and is very informative, thanks for pointing me towards it for anyone wanting to read it click here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?215381-Diffusing-the-myths-(Diffuser-discussion)&highlight=diffusers+diffusing+myths
  5. Ahh ok so im guessing the air that goes underneath the car would then cycle up the rear slightly and be pulled onto the top of the diffuser to pull the back end of the car down for greater grip then would it? assuming installed correctly. Totally agree Yeah definitely ahh awesome il have a search for that now as will fill up my lunch break nicely
  6. Carbon rear diffusers on a Supra I personally (along with quite a few others) think they look good but what is the actual purpose of them other than looking good? Im guessing its to do with the air flow like carbon air diverters for example holding the air into the channel of the car to go in the vent to the rear discs but I dont know what the rear diffusers are technically for? p.s. I know the reason most people add them is for looks but just wondering the practical advantage is the car was to be driven to its full potential
  7. yes, ones like the "79DK" plate earlier in the thread, would like to search those different style ones but not sure on where to go for these?
  8. I do love that supra plate where can you go to search the irregular style number plates? on dvla and other number plate sites they only seem to have a drop down search of standard plate styles. Is there a good website anyone uses to find these or just places like ebay?
  9. Isn't it right though that you cant have a private plate of a standard format reading newer than the vehicle is? This is the problem im having atm as being an L reg I am quite limited on standard format plates and it seems very expensive for different format plates.
  10. Welcome as Matt said above we all love pictures here

Welcome get that membership fee paid and join up properly and will be worth it loads of knowledge on here aswell as access to the for sale and wanted section
  13. I have a single turbo supra and although its being widearched atm so I can put wider wheels on I still went for 18's for better traction
  14. haha I know its very mixed emotions atm as really happy its coming along but like you said it makes you feel nervous looking at the arches as they are now. Around another 2 weeks (mainly waiting on a carbon upper glovebox and carbon air diverters from whiffbitz) and the bulk of all the changes should be done so I can get some good pics then will just be minor mods after that.
  15. Cheers mate blending them, the skirts and the rear arches will be blended so shouldn't see any join or any rivets anywhere
  16. Thanks mate Yes its staying white, I was very dubious about cutting up the shell but iv personally always wanted a widearch supra so I thought I might aswell go ahead with it plus its more practical that I can put the wider wheels on to get some more traction
  17. Love the pic with the bridge in the background looking good mate
  18. Looks very tidy, nice job
  19. Sounds good more people might be up for it then as It'l be nicely into summer
