New Supra UK roadtrip- Tea room tours discussion thread
ShawnPreece replied to ripped_fear's topic in Supra Chat
Haha I probably will bring Sally but I do want to do a few events in Buffy (my black NA Aero) so am tempted for one of the events to be this one as would be nice to do it with the roof off although the photo opportunities are the main aspect of keeping Sally in the front running for it -

Just thought id start a quick post to say how happy I am with using Peter Richards (detailer on here) for purchasing cleaning equipment and would recommend him to anyone on here. I bought a snow foam lance and some snowfoam off him months ago now with the intention of using it that weekend that I bought it but when I came to use it I found that it wouldn't fit to my pressure washer (a really really old Karcher type pressure washer) and I never got round to giving him a message to ask about what I needed to make it fit until recently but I finally got round to sending Peter a message about it and he was incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough to help even speaking to another company to source the correct parts and chasing me up to see how it was going etc and talking me through exactly what to do. Just wanted to put up a thankyou message for everyone to see as I highly recommend using him and his services

Not done much of an update of Buffy lately as not really done a huge amount to her iv just been enjoying driving her However I have now got my private plate on her and took her over the Peak District on the weekend. Here’s a little picture update… Firstly just a pic of me going onto my driveway showing why I chose the lower splitter that I did. It doesn’t actually touch the floor but you cant see much light through the gap lol, I just have to drive on really steady and I don’t need to use blocks of wood… I took off the old numberplate and added brackets within the mouth of the bumper to place my new numberplate on… Excuse how dirty the car is (she is cleaner now) but here she is with her new plates… I installed CCTV on my driveway so I can keep an eye on her and Sally… Some pics up over the Peak District and of some of the roads… My mate that came along took some pics and played around with editing and sent me these… Short term plans are to take the bumper off and get the holes filled from where the old numberplate holder came off and get the whole bumper resprayed as you will also notice the paint missing on the sides whether it had the “Ear type” front splitter on before. Longer term plans (when Sally is totally finished and nothing left to do) is to change the side skirts to probably OEM ones but still thinking of options and possibly a wheel change too. Other than this I just want to enjoy driving the car

Not really an update today but gave her a good clean on Friday and took aload of pics First I installed CCTV over the driveway now that she’s back… Then I moved the dirty Sally just off the driveway ready to clean… My first ever personal use of Snowfoam thanks to Peter Richards on here who was brilliant through helping me sort the bits I need (I have a very old type Karcher pressure washer)… And then she was clean Parked up and took another sneaky pic… Then was getting abit darker and guess what I did? I took another pic Plan is to give her a good machine polish tomorrow -
