  4. All go ok mate? got any events/outings planned with the car soon or is the tea room tour your next?
  5. Looks great Ric its such a tidy car that future proofing it made great sense so will be good for a long time now, great work by James
  6. Amazing results Jazz I been abit busy to come on here much but been checking on instagram frequently and very impressive, cant wait to see this car at a show very soon
  7. If the above render is correct and it does look very accurate from comparing it to the camo MKV then it is very similar to the FT1 concept when you compare the 2 just a little toned down... MK5 Supra... FT1 Concept...
  8. Yes mate but via home to pick up my mate and my other Supra, I live in Hereford so it’s not much off route
  9. I just phoned the hotel now and they said its not a problem as they have a night porter on that can check us in but she did take my name to add a note onto my booking so might be worth calling to leave a message that you will be late... phone number is 01597823700
  10. Hi and welcome put some pics up of your new toy we all like pics Think Swampy covered most of the costs fairly well and £15k would be a ballpark figure to go on depending on the quality of products you use (could be considerably more but also is achievable on this). As for gearbox the 350Z and 370Z boxs have been used a few times I think with decent results so if you have the conversion parts you'd need then I don't see no reason why that wouldn't be a good route to go. The V160 is the obvious choice and really strong but they have a very hefty price tag to go with so the Nissan box's could be a good route especially as others have gone down this route now (just make sure you do your research first). When you do start the project in whatever magnitude you chose start up a project thread and people will help and advise you on your journey
  11. Just out of interest where did you get the carbon one from bud?
  12. A friend of mine commented saying that on one of my wanted ad's on facebook yeah. I've been to see a couple of bodyshops and the prices they are quoting id rather get one thats structurally sound and not been repaired as the quotes for repairing are quite high
  13. Thanks for your opinions guys, after feeding back the spoke about values he said he had a rough figure of £500 as a bottom line in his mind before asking me to find this out so by time I would need to get it tidied up and painted I think it wouldn't really be cost effective for me to go for it and will wait for another to come up It kind of accidentally got run over and doesn't fit so well now
  14. Hi guys im potentially looking at buying an aerotop roof and have found a guy that has one spare but neither of us has an idea of how much it would be worth to speak about a price so he asked me if I would ask on here to see what you guys think... Plus point of the value would be the rarity of the item as not many come up for sale and also that it seems the fitment is good Negative sides of the value would be the condition as the paintwork is very untidy and has a few dings and uneven surface imperfections and is missing one of the 4 corner bolts to hold it down Pics are below but thanks in advance for any input
  15. Yeah tried Keron first, he's only got 1 there but not looking to sell atm, yeah thinking across sea's is my best bet so will keep an eye on international ebays etc... Yeah I haven't actually got a quote from them but heard they were around that ballpark
  16. Anyone know where I can buy an aerotop roof from? or anyone noticed one for sale second hand maybe from an aerotop shell thats been damaged or anything...
  17. Thats awesome thankyou very much for your response guys
  18. Excuse the dirty wheels and because I forgot last night I only popped out quick this morning and couldn't find the tape measure but to give you an idea of the size I placed a 20 pence coin in position, id take a guess at around 9-10mm clearance without accurate measurement Hahaha thanks bud
  19. Cheers mate I would measure it if I could but don't have one out to measure, a friend of mine is big into building his off roaders and is looking at options for the one he's building atm so asked me the question as it could be a possible option for him to buy
