  5. Just noticed your earlier post with dates... Stick me down +1 please mate if I encounter many problems in the build I shall let you know asap but hoping for it to be finished by end of May really so should be plenty of time
  6. If spaces are still available in a month or 2 then il be up for this again too but wanna see how the big build is taking shape first last year was awesome (apart from the obvious)
  7. great detail mate looking awesome
  8. That's the fun part Need to see this beast when its on the road followed this project closely right from the start its been a hell of a journey but starting to see the epic outcome of it now
  9. Sorry thats what I meant... as in legally produce them as road tyres
  10. Thanks mate there was so many different options of heights I wasn't sure and I guessed 330mm was somewhere near what the length would be but just wanted conformation
  11. Thanks for the link I had seen that post but thats more to do with character sizing as apposed to ideal size plates for supra, mainly the rear plate external dimensions im after the front im fairly sure on
  12. I thought it was that it was still legal for us to use R888's but it was illegal for Toyo to produce any more (because of the tread pattern not breaking up the water) so they created the R888R Version that has straight line cut outs in the tyre for spreading the water where as the diagonal cutouts in the R888's just rise above it
  13. Hi im looking to put rectangular plates back on my Supra instead of square plates and was just wondering if someone could tell me the external dimensions for the front and rear number plates im after please.... Front: Im after a rectangular import size plate (or smallest legal rectangular plate)... Is it 330mm x 89mm? Rear: Rectangular plate to fill the area in the OEM Supra rear bumper nicely. I know they are geared up nicely for square plates and normal rectangular plates would be quite narrow in this area so wanting like the one in the photo below (maybe a tiny bit longer though) would the best be 520mmx140mm? (It's a standard format numperplate I have i.e. A111AAA) Any help would be appreciated
  14. Thanks mate very useful link, also answers another question I had that was whether I could use French legal font instead of UK legal font and still be legal (only real difference is that the "1" has the flick on the top instead of just being a straight line)
  15. The screw placement and and letter tweaking im fine with as the characters are all as I would like them but just hoping to slightly change the spacing from "A111 AAA" to "A 111AAA" I know its not supposed to be that much different and the computer spaces exaggerate it as would only want a tiny space (so it's not so obvious) but wondered if on an import plate I might be more likely to get away with spacing slightly off... I'd imagine it would all be down to the copper on the day as im guessing spacing would still be illegal if different even on an import plate?
  16. Bumping an old thread.... With jap import plates the character sizing can be smaller than on UK ones... does the UK rule about spacing between character groups also apply to import plates or is that different? (for example on a UK car you would need "A100 ABC" on an import plate could you go "A10 0ABC" or any irregular variants)
  17. If in doubt then always a no, you only live once and if you are wavering then you will regret selling it
  18. Thanks mate Im getting excited, still early but starting to get the bits in now
  19. Thats understandable mate just ashame to see you selling it but hope you get a decent price As Annabella said id put £16,000 as an absolute bottom line for yours id probably ask for a little more to start just because the condition of it and also being on the stand next to the FT1 at goodwood is also a massive selling feature. Hope all goes well
