  2. coincidentally iv just been told the exact same thing at work lol, my boss is a big Jag person and he was just saying the exact same thing and said that because of the fact its smaller its alot easier to change as he done it on his old Jag
  3. yeah there doesn't seem enough room between the top bolt and the shell without dropping the gearbox slightly, will do that if needed but hoping someone will have found an easier method from experience to make the job easier thankyou for the offer mate much appreciated but I have the one off the spare engine I got in the shed and also the one off the white supra as thats in pieces atm at home too so im ok on that front its just the gaining access to remove that im struggling with
  4. Had a little search but cant seem to get alot on it... My starter motor went yesterday and going to fit a replacement tonight but from having a look last night I was wondering the best way to do this, from below the bottom bolt is quite accessible but the top bolt looks to not be enough room without dropping the auto box down slightly, is there any easier way of access that im missing or do you need to drop the gearbox down just to change the starter motor? - - - Updated - - - oh its a GTE engine
  5. Looks beautiful mate, after seeing your video on facebook I ordered some of that polish
  6. My starter motor packed up last night Gary I got another off my spare engine that il try and find time to fit tonight but if I cant in time would it be ok to change the reg and bring the civic down? Im hoping il get chance to do it and will keep you updated but just wanna say early incase the reg is a problem for the reserved parking?
  7. thanks mate im not hoping to widen my bodywork as much as the cars though im a big believer in the only live once mentality so id rather regret something iv done than regret something I didn't do
  8. Think they would suit the car nicely mate
  9. Had a circuit board added to the forearm as if like the inside of an ECU, this isnt quite finished yet as you can see from some bits not being shaded in properly but got another session this saturday then only one after to finish off whats left

  15. I used MDF as a platform for my batteries in the boot with clamps on top then hide them under lids... Here is a pic showing the basic structure I used... Here's the end result so I got handles (spanner handles ) to lift the lids... One of the batteries hiding under this lid... The other battery along with the washer bottle under this lid... Then the water/meth tank along with isolator switches for the 2 batteries under the big lid in the centre with the space saver wheel still under the carpet... These are the best photos I have of it on my phone but batteries are nice and secure aswell as enclosed. Its not to everyone's taste but was my way of hiding them away
  16. Thanks mate yeah I spoke to a member yesterday and got a measurement and it is really tight I can see why some will fit and some wont, just need to make sure I get one with enough clearance on the inside barrel now, probably will be welds from a preliminary look Yeah think welds is what il be going for, im speaking to Lee atm and just asked if they can come in a powdercoated finish so I can get them as close as possible to my other wheels
  17. As Alex said above... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?82442-Club-Membership-Details-Including-Trader-amp-Hobbyist-Membership-Rules Oh and welcome

  19. Thats my old shell good luck with the build il keep my eye on it
  20. I am yeah and quite probably will be what I go for but been trying to find as close a style to my existing wheels so that I only need to buy 2 and not 6
  21. Il take these please will pm you now
  22. Its 15x10 wheels im after, I didnt know until the other day that the inner barrel sizes vary so I had to find out what the diameter at the largest point of the brakes was so I can compare that to the inner barrel dimension of the wheel to see if they clear
  23. It was black but been wrapped red when TT Paul had it.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?304208-project-WIDE/page2&highlight=braid+wheels
