  1. If you let me know your current setup size we can work out how much extra/less clearance you have on each wheel but gauging it against a stock 17 inch setup this is the difference (guessing 35 as a profile for your new tyres)... Fronts... Stock - Proposed Wheel Diameter: 643.3mm - 654.1mm Circumference: 2021mm - 2054.9mm Poke: 51.6mm - 88mm Inset: 151.6mm - 128mm Ride Height Gain: 0mm - 5.4mm Arch Gap loss: 0mm - 5.4mm Compared to stock wheels, the proposed wheel will have an inner rim which is 23.7mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 36.4mm more than Stock. Rears... Stock - Proposed Wheel Diameter: 635.8mm - 668.1mm Circumference: 1997.4mm - 2098.9mm Poke: 70.7mm - 100.7mm Inset: 170.7mm - 140.7mm Speedo Error: 0% - -4.83% Reading at 30mph: 30mph - 28.55mph Reading at 60mph: 60mph - 57.1mph Ride Height Gain: 0mm - 16.15mm Arch Gap loss: 0mm - 16.15mm Compared to stock wheels, the proposed wheel will have an inner rim which is 30mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 30mm more than Stock. If you look at post 4 on this link you will see good pictures of Nics car showing his wheel and tyre sizes and offsets for you to compare against in a better visual way. Your proposed wheels compared to Nics setup is below... Fronts... Nic - Proposed Wheel Diameter: 653.2mm - 654.1mm Circumference: 2052.1mm - 2054.9mm Poke: 82.3mm - 88mm Inset: 146.3mm - 128mm Ride Height Gain: 0mm - 0.45mm Arch Gap loss: 0mm - 0.45mm Compared to Nics wheels, the proposed wheel will have an inner rim which is 18.4mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 5.6mm more than Nics. Rears... Nic - Proposed Wheel Diameter: 656.7mm - 668.1mm Circumference: 2063.1mm - 2098.9mm Poke: 95mm - 100.7mm Inset: 159mm - 140.7mm Ride Height Gain: 0mm - 5.7mm Arch Gap loss: 0mm - 5.7mm Compared to Nics wheels, the proposed wheel will have an inner rim which is 18.4mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 5.6mm more than Nics. Because of Nic having rolled arches and your setup sticking out 5.6mm more it might be very close and worth measuring or seeing if the same wheel is available in an offset to bring the wheel in 5-10mm but is more accurate to compare against your current wheel setup if you let us know the sizes. As for tyre sizes though yes 245 on a 8.5j rim is fine for the front and 265 on a 9.5j rim for the back will fit fine. More info on how to work it out can be found here Let me know if you need a hand
  2. yep as Jake says its got to be SRD for mapping, with Supras these days you have to accept the fact that you have to travel and cant stay local, whether its a non owner looking to buy or an owner looking for something done the days of putting a 15 mile radius on autotrader have long gone and the same for getting work done
  3. Hi just replied to your PM but thought id reply on here too Yeah I am planning on keeping the RSR sorry as it is the one that I was really wanting so snapped it up as soon as I saw Greg (Sheefa) was selling it. As mentioned by Greg above the Boostlogic is very nice sounding (got that on my other Supra) but is a bit louder than your probably ideally wanting. I do also have a 3" Whiffbitz exhaust at home and also a HKS silent power exhaust if you like the sound of either of those then your welcome to give me another message but the Boostlogic and the RSR are the 2 that im keeping sorry.
  4. Very stock looking silver Supra Reg number A19*** heading on the A438 between Bronllys and Brecon heading Brecon direction at 5:15pm yesterday?
  5. Generally I have found sky very helpful however it does depend who you speak to, most of the good ones have left, Rose Miller I used to deal with mainly and she was absolutely brilliant then she left so dealt with Aimee Lombard and she was great too but was a very short time after Rose left that Aimee left too and have since dealt mainly with Luke Tillbrook, Luke is also brilliant and very helpful but he only deals with new customers not renewals, when renewing my BMW insurance I asked many times to speak to him and they wouldn't put me through because I was always told they couldn't put me through as he only deals with new customers now and not renewals and the service I got and the price I was quoted wasn't the best. Then came time to renew my white Supra (very heavily modified as a lot of you know) and again asking to speak to Luke and getting told I couldn't and the price and service quoted by the renewals team wasn't good enough so I cancelled my renewal and started to look elsewhere... afterwards I thought I might be classed as a new customer again then so called back and finally got through to Luke as I was again classed as a new customer and as expected I got great service and a great price off him. Basically Luke is the man to speak to there as he is very helpful and will do his best for you and if the renewals team in future provide the same service/quotes then I will continue to cancel the renewal and go for a new quote off him. Just hope he doesn't leave aswell now or I have no idea who to go to then. You don't look a day over 25 bud
  6. I got a spare aeromotive FPR at home, can get pics tomorrow night if interested
  7. Cheers mate I have messaged him ahh thanks for the heads up on the paintwork, last thing I want is for it to taint the paintwork Thanks mate yeah I found the same but not sure id want to trust that working great and even if so I wouldn't want to compromise the performance of my current tyres and doubt the couple would be willing to buy me 2 new tyres of the ones I want lol
  8. Thanks mate yeah they were one company I looked at but only go up to 235 wide tyres Ahh ok cheers mate Yeah that's one thing I had thought of as I could angle it so they are not very visable maybe, will see what comes up and give them the options
  9. Hi all, I been asked if I can do a gender reveal for someone I know by doing a burnout with blue or pink smoke... has anyone ever done this before or know of anywhere I could price up tyres for this that are big enough to fit my supra? ideally on my 12J rota rims so something like a 315/30/18 or similar
  10. Haha was ideal for me as I work in Brecon so was just down the road
  11. Mainly depends on your offset mate and if you have your arches rolled? Here is a guide I put together with standard Supra wheels for comparison if its of any help Like the idea of going for 17s on the back as would look a little more aggressive with keeping the style too plus can put the power down a little better
  12. I watched it last night on catchup and I thought it was good they seemed to have a good laugh together more naturally than some of the presenters since Clarkson and co
