  1. Sorry Like the decals though bud they suit it
  2. I know there has been multiple threads covering this now but maybe the more that pop up the more they will address the problem. Until now any comment I had about Sky insurance was always a positive. I had always had brilliant service off them (my usual first contact being a girl named Rose Miller who is always very happy to help and always been great service off her) and they had also always been a great price so when people had been popping up saying about the incredible price jump I was always surprised to see it but iv just had my renewal come through and heres what I got... Firstly I received this email off them on wednesday 9th August saying that Based on my current details last year my insurance price would of been £680 but the email warns me of price rises... Then in the post the other day came this letter saying that my renewal premium would be £1160 (more than a 70% increase) I am in no way knocking the service that I have received from any of the staff at Sky I have always found them to be very helpful but the price I have received from the company I think is terrible. I have just turned 30 years old only last month so was thinking that may be a slight milestone to help out my insurance price aswell as having being with Sky as a loyal customer for a number of years now. As mentioned in the first paragraph I know there have been other threads stating this same point but I feel the more people bring it up to raise awareness maybe they will look into doing something about it.
  3. Thats fine mate no worries at all thanks for asking See you in just over a week

  5. Cheers mate Lee had some in stock so was easy to grab some off him while I was there as they are a long delivery item. Will give you a message in abit to see how its going with the engine
  6. Picked up a few nice bits from SRD on saturday SRD Propshaft, K sport 356mm 8 Pot front brakes and a 5" ETS Intercooler
  7. had 2 mkiii's and absolutely loved them, they used to be so cheap to buy aswell my first being a turbo manual I bought for £950 and was reasonable condition and the second one I had was absolutely mint and was £1400 (at that time that was top money for them) but this was a while ago they have gone up alot (not as much as the one pictured in post 1 though thats very expensive still)
  8. Orange Supra heading southbound on the M5 just after Junction 2 yesterday at 11:38am reg plate L5SUP. Looked really tidy
  9. Brand new manual gear surround (pics to follow but is just a brand new manual gear surround) £130 collected - Location is Hereford in West Midlands £140 posted
  10. Big case 6 speed Propshaft - This has come off my UK spec Supra, only reason for sale is due to upgrading to a SRD Prop. The mileage on the car when it came off was 123,249 and I have no reason to believe that it had been replaced at any time so I would assume its been on the car since new. SOLD
  11. Are you close to anyone doing Applecross Westy? If so I can bring them up on Applecross and give them to someone to pass to you if so and would save you postage cost and Rosie the hassle of posting them
  12. Last day to purchase this as will be booking the time off work in the morning and withdrawing from sale
  13. This is for my green Supra mate so not quite the same mod list as the white one but think its still down as performance as nothing about a classic has been specified and iv still declared all mods
  14. Had an email off Sky saying my insurance is up at the end of the month and that a renewal price will be sent through within the next 10 days.... I await to see the difference so keeping an eye on this thread
  15. I see how you've sneakily got the Supra ring in the middle pic
  16. You've come to the right place check the classifieds on here and you will see a few very tidy well looked after examples and if you find one elsewhere then pop up the info before going to look at it and pretty much all the time someone off here will know the car so can give you advice on it happy searching and welcome to the club
  17. Having shutdown week at work last week gave me a chance to give it a really good clean and wax to protect the new paintwork Here's the exterior pics... Then the following day I hopped into the engine bay... And gave that a good clean and wax too (gave it 2 good layers of wax hoping it will be easier to keep clean)...
  18. As Greg said above with R888's its standing water thats the problem as the tread pattern doesn't allow to break up the water so it just rises above it
  19. A last bump on this thread need to book time off work so if nothing by the end of the week then I shall go in the Civic
  20. Nice one yeah let me know if interested mate
  21. Then we can pollute more by driving the Supra's more places
  22. yeah UK's are brilliant the idea of uprating the fronts from UK isnt really performance related its mainly because my other Supra is still on J spec brakes and when complete should be running 650-700bhp at a guess so I need to uprate the brakes on that and on this Supra because iv had to downrate the rear brakes to J Spec I got the UK rears to go on my other Supra so it makes sense to move the whole UK setup onto that supra and get new bigger fronts for this one
