  1. Did you get a welcome pack? If not then there is a method of requesting one in settings... il point you in the right direction if you haven't got one as the card is within that
  2. The V160 is out of the pre-facelift Supra and the V161 is out of the facelift Supra. Someone else may have to verify this but from what I understand the V161 is slightly better gear ratio's for acceleration but the V160 is slightly stronger for taking power (although both are incredibly strong and take silly powers with ease). This would need to be confirmed by someone else though as this is only what iv heard through people as apposed to hard facts.
  3. Such a shame when people don't look after these cars. Are you set on a Supra now then or still undecided? Oh no another Auto v Manual debate is coming Both great transmissions mate it depends on the type of driving you will be doing as to which suits you the best You will find many threads on here covering peoples opinions on these.
  4. I use a guy called Jeff from trackstuff (http://www.trackstuff.co.uk/index.htm) They are M&H Racemasters in 325/50/15 and price was £348.51 each (piccy's below)
  5. Cheers mate yeah because of using this Supra quite often that was my main trail of thought Thankyou mate yeah im really happy with the car so far Cheers Burna yeah the type 1 and type 2 (the standard polyurethane one and the one with ears) are the same height then this one (type 3) is a little less
  6. strip and bar in the same post.... I see where this is going
  7. Aslong as the engine in the Skyline is a RB25 and not either a Gallo 12 or Gallo 24 then sounds like you've made your mind up and go for the Skyline
  8. Restoration threads are always good to see glad you've got the love back and look forward to seeing the updates
  9. Thanks mate yeah definitely, The aim for this one is to keep it really tidy and also driveable so I can use it whenever and take it most places when I dont wanna use my Civic
  10. and a big thanks to Shawn for.... hmm... urgh.... hmm.... a clean car... nah that wouldn't of helped in this.... hmm... all the moral support maybe... yeah il go with that the moral support hehehe only joking, looking great bud really brings a modern approach to the Supra I too can back up what Greg was saying, has been alot of time and effort been put into this and attention to detail has been phenomenal
  11. Thanks Kev hahaha I will be hiding my keys from you bud
  12. TrickTT +3 Burna +1 Little Num +3 Shawn Preece +1 Randle +1 Big Num +1 Joshy C Just added Josh (who you met at Santa Pod Trick) as he wanted to come too
  13. Iv got road legal drag radials that I intend to use on the road for normal driving (aswell as my 18's il swap between the 2 sets depending where im going and weather etc...) so is legal to use those on the road but not sure about having a parachute fitted iv never looked into that
  14. As Mike says if you are having doubts as to whether you will keep the car then its a consideration to think about but if you have no plans of selling in the near future then go all out for what you want I had the same thoughts about my white Supra when I put the Ridox on that but have since ended up going all out and am so glad I have done so as I get more enjoyment out of it
  15. haha definitely Not much of an update today just some pics of the lovely billet diff casing off Lee at SRD and also tucked her away in the garage as the bad weather is coming in until I have the engine back to continue working on her in the shed
  16. Picked the new splitter up from Whiffbitz on friday (thanks Paul ) as I wanted a polyurethane one instead of the fibreglass one that was on it and I went for the type 3 from Paul as it wasn't quite as big as the others so offered more ground clearance as I will be using this Supra a little more regularly than the others. A pic of it when I got home... A pic of the old one... Showing the ground clearance on the splitter that was on it... Up in the air and old splitter removed... New splitter on... New ground clearance... A comparison showing how much more ground clearance I have... Some pics of it on the car after... Im really happy with the new splitter as my personal preference I prefer the look of it but the only problem was that the "ears" on the old splitter had been bonded on so took the paint off when removed, im in no rush to get this done as my main focus is on my white Supra but the front bumper will need respraying soon. Doing this also gave me chance to lift the car in the air and have a proper look under it as I hadn't had chance since buying it and im really happy with the general condition the only thing from this that is on my to do list is to replace the brake lines, they are still fine but can see signs of them ageing and want to keep the condition of this car up so I will be replacing these soon
  17. Hi mate im flying from Heathrow on friday 20th October and returning on monday 30th October... how much would this service be for those dates? Thanks
  18. Not seen any come up for a while but what could you pick up a 2JZ-GE engine and N/A auto gearbox for in todays market? with everything needed to put into a Supra shell with no engine or gearbox in.
