  1. Wow 4 years, glad to see you got it back running again
  2. There's a good amount around mate, best thing to do would be to start a build thread on here and then people can advise you and help you along the way from past experience
  3. That was quick mate, looking forward to seeing what you got lined up next
  4. Unless there is a part number of some sort I dont think there is a way of knowing without actually trying it... but yes the delimiter is usually built into the converter Yeah I haven't touched one for a while (that was just a google images pic I found to show it) but the extra wires are the ones going to the dials. It's only a guess but just thinking possibly they might of cut them off to still use the loom as a power source to light up the boost gauge (a horrible way to do it but iv come across alot worse in previous cars iv bought lol). Yeah id pull it from there mate. Sorry my knowledge is limited in this area hopefully someone who knows alot more will pop up
  5. Id guess its probably had one in the past as it looks very similar to the picture below (I could be wrong). Maybe if the boost gauge is plumbed into it then they are using this loom still to light up the boost gauge when the car lights are on... its hard to know without tracing back the wires but it would probably be my guess
  6. Have you got "GLO" gauges in? that epicentre is a box that is on the wiring for GLO gauges that change colour

    Newbie

Welcome as above lets see some pics of both I assume the 5 speed conversion was the R154 and not the W58 was it?
  8. Yep UK spec Supra's are unique... personally if I were to have one I would leave it totally stock in every single way and not change a thing on it
  9. Payment received so now sold
  10. Provisionally sold pending payment
  11. For sale is the camshafts I removed from the engine of my UK spec Supra. Only removed due to going for GSC 272's. £50 collected or £60 posted (Collection from Hereford West Mids) When I started writing this advert I thought I had photo's of them on my phone but it seems I haven't so will take some tonight and add tomorrow
  12. Ahh good choice still, if I didn't have a Supra id go for a R34
  13. Anyone know if this car ever got finished?
  14. Haha nah the loom is all good he's just fitting and wiring up the sensors so shouldn't be to bad He reckoned he'd probably have the car for a week or maybe 2 depending on how it goes. Has he any updates on when he is doing yours?
  15. Planning for that to be it then bud, Tim's only waiting on delivery of the correct valve springs then only a couple of days worth of reassembly and the shell has been ready for the engine for quite some time now so just a case of plumbing the engine back in once I have it with a couple of bits of fabrication and other little bits then it should be good for mapping (Greg's fitting the ECU for me aswell as we decided thats probably the best way) and hopefully on the road for any nice day we have after that If all goes to plan anyway as it all sounds so easy when saying/writing it don't it
  16. Today is an exciting day as I now have mapping booked for early march with Greg at Pro Tuner so got tight deadlines to work to but with all plans of deadlines now nicely laid out there should be no problem with hitting this date
  17. Sad to see this mate and hope you change your mind, as for a price it is really hard to gauge but as its done to so much detail and an aerotop to make it a perfect copy its got to be quite high... Depends how serious you are about selling or if its just testing the water to see if its worth selling from what you get offered and that your not worried if you keep it but id say an advert of around £12k maybe to see what response you have. That's only a really rough guess mind as like you say its really hard to gauge.
  18. Same here, always find this panel the biggest pain of all
  19. Quite possibly yeah but Dad still wants to give it abit longer of just ignoring them totally hoping that they will eventually get bored to save the possible retaliations, it is under consideration though now Thats a great link thanks mate
  20. As Ben said its worth naming to potentially save others the same trouble and also someone might of been through the same with the same company so can offer advice on what they did
  21. Cams still available but all else gone Cams £50 collected or £60 delivered
