I've been looking for a TT and would rather a manual (along with most), but of course they don't come cheap - Outside my budget. I've noticed a surprisingly large amount of NA - TT converted cars and they seem to sell for good money. It would suit me perfect to buy an NA, save up a bit, and then do the conversion rather then forking out £7k+ in one lump. What are the pros and cons of doing this conversion? I've tried a search but all terms are omitted. Cheers, Olly

Aha, leads nicely on to the next part of the question. Yes, if you choose a £100k car (or up to obviously) then all costs would be the same as your current car. I personally would choose the £30k cash and get onto the property ladder but a friend at work would choose the car. He's minted anyway though, think his dads got a DB9.

On a UK it's slightly more expensive but nothing to cry about. Ye my company never give a quote out straight away, always have to get a supervisor/manager to 'unblock' my account or whatever because of my age ha.

I've not been driving long but in that time had my fair share of cars including a few imports and tubbies and paid my ass off for them. Now it's paying off

I live in Newton and have never seen that car! Unless it had a very small carbon spoiler you may have missed? Was it a widebody?
