  1. I'm sure there was a PS3 games thread just the other day! Motorstorm and Heavenly Sword are great and I've just picked up Warhawk which is brilliant fun.
  2. Bought it but not yet received it. Really looking forward to re-living the concert, what an awesome night especially when they played Plug In Baby, the excitement levels in the audience just went through the roof!!
  3. Thing is, afaik you're meant to stop at an amber anyway.

    PS3 games?

The demo of Prologue is free, but Prologue itself isn't.

    PS3 games?

From what I can see you can get the GT5 demo for free, and I've got both the UK and Japanese ones, but Prologue costs 4500 Yen to download, unless I've missed something.

    PS3 games?

Warhawk is awesome fun - 3rd person online battle game, up to 32 players, loads of weapons, vehicles etc.
  7. Oh mate, horrible to see "my" car like that! Really sorry, hope you get her fixed up alright.
  8. Just tried it and it is indeed true. Another fact to add to the collection.
  9. I'm with Be as well, very impressed even though I only get around 12mb, but superb as an overall package. I'm interested to see if this new Virgin fibre optic broadband is much cop as they reckon that it's faster than everything else, even though max speed is 20mb.

    HID's which ones?

Tee is correct about cars with xenons legally needing both self-levelling headlamps or suspension along with headlamp washers, the latter being down to the fact that xenon light scatters vey easily when dirt is present on the headlight glass, as he mentioned. However, as long as the light emitted is not blue and blatantly not standard and the beam pattern is good, which it will be with projector headlamps such as those on a Supra, you will have no problems with the police or come MoT time. I have never had problems with either and I have never heard of anyone getting in trouble for having aftermarket xenons. It's only when people start fitting xenons in cars with reflector or fresnel optic based headlights, which just don't go together at all, or fit stupid blue bulbs that there's a good chance of getting pulled over.
  11. Not sure about stores but eBay sells them - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270213225964&ssPageName=MERC_VIC_RCRX_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT&refitem=270192701208&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=closed_view_item&usedrule1=CrossSell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget&_trksid=p284.m183&_trkparms=algo%3DCRX%26its%3DS%252BI%252BSS%26itu%3DISS%252BUCI%252BSI%26otn%3D4 Whoops, didn't read the bit about you already seeing them online!
  12. I had shoulder arthroscopy to fix a dislocation-based problem - looked like I'd been shot afterwards but it was worth it as it has hopefully cured my problems.

    Fifa 08 on Wii...

Nope, but it's nice to have.
  14. Slightly ironic that your correction featured an incorrectly used apostrophe...
  15. Well if you live in the zone you really don't have much choice. The £25 a day charge doesn't come in until October and as has been stated it's only pre-2001 cars over 3000cc that have to pay that much so all Supras will be fine.
  16. Well the £25 charge has been confirmed today and will be starting in October. Can't see them making any changes to it prior to its introduction.
  17. Supras won't be affected as it's only cars over 3.0l that have to pay £25 if they are older than 2001.
  18. Oh absolutely, I know the site, but m5board.com would still be my first choice for M5 stuff - almost 8000 E34 M5 threads alone.
  19. No offence but not sure how useful a site about E36s will be when you're looking for information about an E34... I'd suggest you head on over to http://www.m5board.com and look in the E34 section, more information than you can shake a stick at. A friend at work has a white 3.8, it's certianly not slow but way off the pace compared to a standard Supra, let alone a BPU'd car. They can be somewhat expensive to look after, especially when it comes to EDC (£2k to replace a full set of shocks) which is a major weak spot. All have high mileages now and some will have been ragged but as long as you buy a good one and are prepared to spend a bit of money looking after it, then it'll last you a long time. Edited to add that power-wise the earlier 3.6s were 315bhp while the 3.8s were 340bhp and the very last of the line had a six-speed manual and 18s as standard.
  20. This bit explains the Coney Island scene: http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/10946 This reveals the hidden message at the end of the credits: http://cloverfieldmessage.ytmnd.com/ And here you can find out more about the monster: http://www.empireonline.com/interviews/interview.asp?IID=736
  21. I'm more excited by the teaser trailer for the new Star Trek movie he's doing that was shown before the film!
  22. PM sent Nice to see other people with less than glowing praise for this movie I went onto the Empire forums and it reads like they are all simultaneously sucking JJ Abrams off...
  23. There are two bits which I don't want to give away here but which I didn't notice until I read about them on the net when I got home. First is in the video shot at Coney Island, the second is right at the end, after all the credits.
  24. So finally went to see this today after some 8 months of waiting. Not as bad as some people have said, but certainly not as good as everyone else seems to make out. Too much of a love story for my liking and just a bit average. Not particualrly scary or exciting with the exception of a couple of bits. Verdict: meh.
