Hey guys. I was just curious if anyone had changed or modified the fuel filler on their mkiv. I need to get a new lid as mine broke at the bracket but im debating doing a mod to completely change the look of the filler and maybe put a stylish one on flush with the rest of the car. Has anyone done similar before?

Iv done mine twice in 2 years with the same £20 ebay buy. its only the obvious areas of the carpet that are used that lose their colour. I did the floor mats, the roof liner and visors to good effect. For the price and ease of doing it... I really dont mind.

It appears the cable direct from battery to fuse box had worn to the extent of snapping whilst manouvering the battery lol.. all power went so we spent last night sorting that issue out lol

Thanks! Wev tested it all.. we have power all the way to the bulb connectors and the bulbs are sound so a bit stumped on that for the moment. Whilst messing about with it we stumbled upon a pretty significant problem.. il link a picture its quite interesting lol... Il have a look at that kev. If we have no joy and your willing to take a look we could pop across one weekend or something. Cheers

Ah. Thanks. After driving home from work in the dark I noticed that one side works whilst the other still doesnt light. Weird. Btw... I stupidly left out that it was only affecting the full beams.. all other lights seem to be fine. On a side note. Where can I find the fuse that controls the dash backlight? That went about a week ago lol

Iv just rechecked what iv done including taking the bulb out on the side I removed to no avail. Any idea where the fuse might live? Lol

Hey guys. Seems my headlights have decided to stop working. They were fine last night at 11pm. I have taken one headlight off to refurb but upon replacing it neither headlights are working. It is drizzling outside but I tucked the bulbs and loom under the bonnet. Any ideas?

What fluid should I put in btw?

If so, what does that entail? Will I need to sell my past kidney? Or is it a relatively simple system?

Hey guys. Im getting some strange droning noises from under the bonnet when I rotate the steering wheel, seems to be louder the farther I turn, no notable difference to the ease of rotating the wheel at the moment. Can I sagely assume it's the power steering pump? How much are those going for these days? Is it an easy job? I can get a video if required many thanks in advance

hey people.. to add to my run of issues with the supra this year i now seem to have had a leaky top hose which exhausted most of my coolant. iv just been to halfrauds, replaced a jubilee clip where the problem is and topped up the coolant to the max line. literally a two minute drive home and iv had to put more coolant in and am so far at 2 litres and the level is now only half way between max and min. im getting no wet patches coming from underneath the car. could this be trapped air or a fecked head? car pulls and drives as it always has and i cant smell the coolant through the exhaust. help would be much appreciated! im getting to the end of my patience with this car this year, id rather keep the car bur its just beginning to become impracticle. nb... my radiator is bubbling, you can hear it.. i have a vid of this if needed. cheers

ah. that was purposed. iv just changed the exhaust and put a apexi neo ss on. iv gained a cat in the process i think.. i dont think i had a cat on the previous one.. i have to wait until monday for the recon alt to arrive and then il have a better clue. what would effect the earthin? what could it be..

well im dying for the car back and simply bit the bullet and bought a recon. problem solved but at expense..impatience is bad..
