  1. not a big fan of the wii, im a azy bastard, and the age old controller suites me because i can do all the moving, shooting and driving withut actually moving a muscle.. love it! they are a good console, just not for me i recon!
  2. i actually find the rx7 pretty ugly, thats also the common consensus i find. They are a very impressive car when working, i just cant stand looking at them, lol they have nice features, such as the single black band across the back for the lights, and the badge, lol thats about it for me. I dont like the shape unless modified, but my main issue with them is the cabin, it pokes out way too much! its huge, bubbly and obscene imo. I have always oo'd and ahh;d at them for what they are, but as mentioned they arent the best for everyday use. My mates was damn quick, but felt cheap, shoddy and basic inside, oh and around 2000miles later the car was dead, engine issues as ever. They are just a big pocket of trouble from what i read and experienced by my mates, though i doubt he had it rebuilt. id love to have one, if it was rebuilt, modified and free, lol. I couldnt justify spending money on it the way they need.
  3. iv seen this thread before, its slightly unsettling reallly, lol laughed so hard at some of these comments though! ha
  4. well, im gonna do my best to get myself the day off so i can pop down. It should be ok, i havent got much work on atm so i doubt they need me
  5. roundabouts are a sure way to see the idiot drivers,, shit lane discipline! grr i hate break dancers too - monkeys that will prefer to keep tapping their breaks for NO reason.. ends up like a red disco they way some go at it... All catastrophic drivers should have harnesses made for them to pull every other driver about whilst they make a ciggy or eat or generally fancy making them sweat a bit.. Personally its the sheer fact that i would be happy to eat nothing but their tears of anguish, id work them to death and make others move the 'recently deceassed' and fix the harness to themselves, damn swines! slight tangent, but meh, a point is a point

  7. oh right! well, thats the only red one i know/ knew of:) looked very tidy, tho i was ahead by numerous cars.. I tried to go around the roundabout to get a better look, i failed, lmao i thought he'd drove on, when he hadnt quite caught up to the second roundabout... oh well
  8. Red supra spotted coming out of methuen industrial park. in chippenham Im guessing thats one of yours mrlover?

    X-Factor Fall

haha, she did it so casual too, she just got up, and carried on as if nothing happened... sorry love, i think a couple of viewers may have seen, lmao.. well maybe a few million people saw
  10. Still waiting:p hah.. stunning car, obviously a huge amount of work.. id SO love to have the ability to tinker with cars to that extent, lol
  11. Infact, its me:D only recently bought mine, my boss told me there was a couple right by his house.. stumbled there instead of going up rumble dean:P was a pleasant sight. Was actually appreciating your alloys and roofspoiler. i think i saw your red one today too. only in passing at bridge centre though. Always love seeing others tottering about.. hasnt happened much though in truth. have just seen your engine bay pics, wow..lol would dream of seeing something even slightly as plush under my own, maybe in the future:P both are stunning supras for sure!
  12. sounds like a deal, would kill for a location like that, lol.. i have to just make do with a driveway on a quiet residential street.. i dont think i could sleep if it had to be parked on the road side! christ! lol
  13. am a newbie also here, but welcome.. and i didnt half piss myself at your supra mk fiesta:search:thumbs:
  14. think it would be wise, im concerned the 1st turbo is kicking in too early.. 2k revs seems to be the point where it starts to whistle, though the turbo seems to kick in stilla t around 3-3.5k. ah well will get it cxhecked out on my day off.. any decent supra mechanics near here? i was always directed to carcare in melksham for my mr2, how are they with supras? cheers!
  15. My god! how many are in wiltshire!! particularly around the 'nam area.. amazing! such a memorable moment to pass another... iv not done it yet either!! shoking now i know how many of you are around here, hehe Im already enjoying the forum, i was part of the MR2OC nad found them most helpful, but tbh, i think it slightly pales compared to the friendly community here.. it certainly didnt take long to get to a second page on this thread with the nice comments.. I hope i can become a helpful member too at somepoint! hehe
  16. ironic, my MR2 has a similiar issue, though it does seem a bit of a silly place to have the alternator:P if i could easily access it, id give it a proper clea, maybe replace the bushes. it doesnt look tooo complicated to remove, diagnosis mount, and another thing will free up room to remove from the engine bay.
  17. i actually only noticed from the picture i took, lol i thought that was a bit odd, lol so paranoid with this car its silly! so concerned of damaging the bugger in someway, lol
  18. hey thats cool, im still learning, the documents have the date of registration in uk as the same date of original registration. I certainly dont proffess to knowing much about the differences, that was all i went by. I would definately feel much more confident with it once its been looked over properly, as mentioned, im a bit pants with mechanical side of things. Any info is always welcome! Oh, and il definately be at the chippenham meet. I live only a couple of miutes away In regards to the NP surround, that was already fixed, iv only owned the car since thursday:) feels a pretty good price @ 4.5k, just makes me edgey not having had it looked at properly.
  19. Newbie owner here in Chippenham 94 TT Loving the car btw. good fun! http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/1718/img8634.jpg http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/8168/img8652i.jpg http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/5826/img8650l.jpg http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/1718/img8634.jpg http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/7404/img8668i.jpg
  20. awesome. thats wicked. Glad to hear there is some in chippenham. Iv noticed a silver one, and a black one that occasionally potters around sainsburys side of chippenham. well, il be keeping an eye out for you! Oh and will post some pics once i have ahold of my mates camera.
  21. sory to dig up the dead threads but.... I just bought myself a uk 94 TT, i live here in chippenham so it would be fantastic to see some of your examples, and meet some guys.. question:... whens the next chippenham mini-meet? I know there is another supra owner in chip'nam, maybe your/they're on the forum? My boss lives opposite two supras other end of town. any of you guys possibly??
  22. lol yeh, dont i know! Nearer the time il re-confirm the insurance quote, but wiht placing my mother as a named driver, its actually reduced the insurance to about £1000, which is rediculous.. Im 23 with 2y NC, 2y driving experience, so aslong as they dont take the piss, i can deal with a little more on the insurance side of things (mad!) Im currently driving my Mr2 NA JDM with tuning done and insurance is currently £1200...beleive it or not, its gone up from last year... work that out:( ¬.¬ so am changin insurers as soon as it runs out. My car certainly isnt the most fuel efficient car atm, i recon 25mpg being kind to the 2:/ Meh, im not fussed about the expense, the timing for me is ideal. I have no true responsibilties, i have no kids or mortgage, and i cant see it being practical to have a supra when i do... though owning one will happily delay both, lol.. car 1st! priorities! Its possibly my favorite car going, its bloody beautiful! cant think of anything nicer than a pretty supra, so i really think i could do with speaking to an owner, and listening to what they have to say:) BTW... Any supra owners venture into the depth that is Chippenham?? (right by Castle combe circuit, 2miles or so) I could really do with some entrepid Supra owner that fancies showing off their Supra to a prospective new owner:innocent:
  23. Awesome, thanks for that, i will keep my eyes peeled. The thing is, the GTO is an good optiopn purely because i know of a good one for sale near me for only 2.4k, i cant remember the mileage but its definately somethign under 90k, cam was also changed only 2000miles ago, the thing for me is that i prefer the supra, its just for my budget, finding a good specimen. i have a fw months so will defiantely be reading much more about supras firstly
  24. Hi all, this might be a bit of a nieve question, but meh, noob law or something i would imagine Im soon to be coming into a reasonable sum of money, iv been loking to get a supra IF i can afford a decent one. Im just wondering if i would be able to find a decent Supra mk4 TT/STfor £5000 or so. Is this a bit too optimistic? I would be wanting the 320bhp export model ideally... again, a nice, subtle bodykit would be nice:P lol bare with me as im pretty useless with cars, so im sure im probably way off with my dreaming. lol Im jsut trying to work out where i stand with supras, or whether i should look for 300zx/ gtos or something for my budget. Tbh, im after performance
