this is the exact question im asking the limit of cam lift / duration on a 3.4 hks stroker, just considering cam options.

do you know upto what lift that is mate ?

it means if your cambelt snaps pistons will hit valves.

at the end of the day ozz is a genuine bloke at hja, im sure he would put it on a dyno to show the current power, everyone expects everything for nothing im afraid, i bought mine and had a few issues as a car of this caliber will always have, now sorted and running 875 bhp, not the almost 1000 as it was advertised but it really doesnt matter, as long as all the components are there and genuine thats all anyone can ask. dynos are dead easy to fudge anyways you only need to see a ridiculous high amb temp like a cup of coffee for the probe and the dyno will correct the figure and make it miles higher than it really is, you will know when you drive it if its right.

the only problem i have with the car is how it looks, i couldnt live with it it is 100% way ott imo

lol its a big turbo capable of 1000 hp its a t88-38, prob capable of over 1000 tbh.

what rpm is peak torque/full boost jamie ?

its a long shot but im wondering if anyone has experimented with high lift cams and a hks 3.4 stroker, at what point does piston - valve contact become an issue assuming pistons are stock hks items with no extra pocketing ? the biggest cams hks list is 272d 9.1mm lift which i currently have but want more for the new head. i dont want to remove pistons for machineing just head and cams change. id like to order the cams if i can find out maximum lift and duration i can run.

get it on tdis hub, i didnt bother with rollers as i was worried it would do what your has done and try and exit the rollers lol is that a gt47 ?

if all the vitals are stable its more than likely just an ignition issue fella.

what turbo is that ? can you put up a dyno graph, id like to compare the spool as i think mine is laggier than it should be on a 3.4. sounds to come on boost nice and hard

santa pod speed limit is 110mph then a helmet must be worn, you get your first run but once you pass 110 mph once they wont let you run again without a lid, that is 100% santa pod rules.

i have set up my g tech so as its accurate or showing slower speeds and times when compared to a santa pod time slip, which means i have to set up the gtech with a 12" rollout that showed a 12.4 1/4 mile at 121 mph when i actually done it in 12.29 at 122 mph, when i ran it at 0" rollout at santa pod my 12s 1/4s were recording as 13s on a time slip.

my best so far on 1.6 bar although probably not great for 700 odd bhp but its only my 4th run so far on road tyres on a fully unprepped track, just normal old tarmac. i think i can get it in the 3s on road tyres on unprepped tarmac with some practice.

lol so owning a 900 hp supra must be a jp wannabee eh maybe it does in your world but it doesnt in the real world beyond this forum.

i know jamie ive been myself a few times, if i can get a 1.9 or better 60ft on my bit of tarmac then santa pod shouldnt be a problem assuming i get the launch right on the day.

i dont need the strip mate i got a private bit of tarmac i can use 100% legally outside my house if it breaks then i will build it stronger but im going in knowing its weak points and allowing for them hence not launching on the limiter on drag radials. rome wasnt built in a day jamie, youve got a few years on me in supra ownership im only in my 8th week and just come from awd gtr i must walk before i run buddy
