    0-100mph

i have a car that runs a mph converter and the converter has made the speedo 100% accurate to my racelogic vbox so yes a proper mph conversion can be spot on.

    0-100mph

looks about right to me 0 - 80 mph in 7 seconds, thats what my r32 does it in at 1.1 ish bar on twin -7s.

not really i dare bet it would do a low 10 or even a 9.9 on a perfect run, high pressure single plate clutch on stock box and diffs 1st to 3rd is great she loses puff in 4th though. i can 60-100 in 5.9 seconds, so a 0-60 of 4 seconds would see 9.9

    0-100mph

400 hp and 1750 kg id expect around 11.5 seconds with a good launch. my r32 gtr does it in 10.4 seconds 408 rwhp dynapack.
  5. tubular manifold warped by 3mm on both ends of the mounting flange, its an odd shape 6 branch turbo banana bunch looking manifold with external wastegate hanging out the side, im trying to find someone who would have the clamping capability to hold it in a mill, there must be someone out there who does them isnt there ?
  6. all this comments of people suggesting all cheap turbos are made of cheese etc have you all actually run a cheap xs power or similar turbo ? im guessing most comments arent coming from a testing them background but merely i heard a tale stories. i have sold and run alot of turbos supplied by ss autochrome i did it for about 18 months 4 years ago i finished as i didnt have the time for it anymore. they were to4e turbos $149 each, they were similar in size to a garrett t34 with a 0.63 exhaust housing, i used one on my own cosworth at 22 psi no problems, and i sold alot custom fitted to manifolds for cosworth yb, escort rs turbo and custom c20let conversions and i never had 1 failure. ive also fitted a cheap shaft, wheels and seal kit to a renault lauguna 2.2 dci and again still running no problems. i wouldnt run one on a big budget big boost application but on a cheap built on a stock engine i would give them a go, the company i used sell alot of gear aswell. theres always the risk it can fail but a branded big money turbo can fail also. link to the best company i found for sourceing cheap turbo kits http://ssautochrome.com/ iirc they sell a 2jz kit aswell.
  7. defo get a screamer pipe, my supra on hks t51r spl was vented back into exhaust and was super quiet by comparison to my new car an r33 gtr running a garrett gt4094r with a single screamer pipe sounds awesome on boost, then nice and quiet when cruising off boost i love it.
  8. ive run 1 3" behind the turbo and it kept cooking it, ive now got aem afr gauges in my r32 gtr and my r33 gtr both in the decat pipes and they work perfectly and the sensors dont overheat. great gauges they read within 0.2 and they have saved me 2 engines now from lean failure 1 2jz and 1 rb26 engine saved well worth the money i wouldnt be without one on a tuned turbo car.
  9. i do agree to an extent but your kit is a prime example its been for sale for a while now and still hasnt sold, the jun plenum i sold you is another prime example i sold it to you for way less than its worth about 20% of the original cost ! if i hadnt sold it to you for that money id still have it now, even at the prices im talking ive still returned £23000 with a blown engine from a car that cost £27000 so its not all doom and gloom imo, alot of the prices on here are ott hence why they havnt sold imo, ive literally got just odds and sods left now.
  10. realistically to sell it reasonably quickly id say 2k thats where i ended up selling my full hks t51r spl bb kit was almost brand new, you can get more but how long will it take.....
  11. not really its only 680 hp, im on my second r32 gtr last one was 600 hp but gearbox couldnt cope but fancy a newer one aswell so getting a r33 with os giken box. my daily is a 460 hp r32 gtr super reliable, r33 will be weekend toy and santa pod.
  12. gtr for me, im about to buy a bigish power r33 gtr but a high power r35 gtr is the end game for me.
  13. in theory my rims should fit perfect, come and try one if you want to check. in reference to cost to the te37s, there about the same price as my gtfs over £600 each plus delivery !
  14. i have just weighed my 10.5j 19" volk ray gtfs and there 9.5 kg
