    that is a NA lower neck. Had to drill the holes out to marry up to the pump studs..

    Finally got 5 mins free to update the build thread. i decided i wanted to keep things subtle and i painted the waterpump in HT satin black, cae out really nice and fresh. I removed all the stock bolts and custom made my own which i then 24k gold plated. I have had a couple of little issues but nothing that cant be sorted easy enough. At the moment im just mocking things up and making sure i have no issues with clearances.

    Few snaps. all the exhaust manifold and turbo housing heat coated black. I took the cam covers with me to SRD, Lee and Ash kindly fitted all the baffles back in them and re-sealed. Got a chrome back plate on and my new Titan cam gears. SRD custom made me a new oil line, looks so smart and keep it all neat and tidy Turbo has been mirror polished now and ready to be sent away fro some fancy weight saving treatment.

    Got the majority off now guys. Main priority for next week is to get all deliverys done for those waiting on parts. Thanks for being understanding, it's a very slow process stripping a car which is put together so perfectly. Care has been taken when removing all parts to keep them as good as new. Cheers, rob

    Hi everyone I'm doing this post to help my partner out who is a bit down lately. We have decided that she is better of going alone and starting a new business. She is a bit stuck on a name... Her name is Chantelle but we like the idea of a name which shows her treatment which is for younger skin, removing old age spots, scaring ect Eg- flawless beauty I really want to help her out so much as she deserves the world. Just need a few ideas guys as some people are pretty good at this. Please stick to topic. Many thanks

    Be a while yet Matt. Just want to get this engine built up to a nice standard. Be a absolute monster when all hell lets loose. If i was into street racing and drove daily I would have gone smaller modern turbo... But as a toy this will be a right thrill lol

    Cheers for the comments guys. I said the big twins were laggy but this setup was mainly due to me using a stock autobox and having stock cams and fuelling so never helped. Yes, this is a big turbo but the lag will suit me perfectly with my driving style and will pack a huge punch when opened up lol. With the correct fuel setup, exhaust and the head work this setup will hit good numbers and I also have a nice six speed conversion in place

    Really excited to be picking engine up tomorrow from SRD. Just received a cheeky pic which i wanted to share. Got to mirror polish the turbo housing again before it gets sent away for weight saving treatment lol.

    Won't be naming but they know who they are. You never know who is following my build. Each year I up my game and invest money into doing so, what gets me annoyed is half the cars in these shows just use it as a parking facility lol.

    Yeah seen them cars and I can appreciate the work involved but on the outside on panels isn't my cup of tea. Shows are very strange things at times. I took loads of awards with the gold rush but was then told i wasn't allowed to enter no more as it's unfair lol my comment back was that the others should up the game haha that went down like a pint of sick and I wasn't allowed to enter no more

    Today has been a bit of a golden day. got a fair bit done. Tensioner and cam covers fully 24k gold plated.

    Decided i would treat myself to some aftermarket timing pulleys. I couldnt have them how they was so i gold plated some dome nuts and washers and also gold plated the big bolts which hold them on. Also a cheeky few pics of my VWR T6 manifold after being black heat coated. Looks really fresh, really happy.
